Baylor TE Jordan Najvar has been impressing scouts at East-West Shrine Bowl Practices. He supposedly has pretty good hands. He was injured and missed 7 games this past season, only catching 8 passes. I think he's around 6'6" and 267 lbs.

Looks like Huff is having a good week of practice at the senior bowl. Some stating he's the best of the bunch on the North side, even drawing DeSean Jackson like comparisons. Although I don't see the comparison. Let's see how he does in the game on Saturday. May become a day 2 pick.

What about Connor Shaw, SC QB?

I see a poor man's Brad Smith.. available in the 7th round.

I'm not a particular fan of Connor Shaw. Was an inaccurate passer in the games I saw. I do like his mobility & his toughness to battle through injury, but I wouldn't want him.

I don't see that comparison. Shaw is a much better passer and I think QB. Smith is a better runner and athlete.

He's not flying under the radar. but I am very surprised there isn't more talk on here about him: Jimmy Garoppolo.

Guy looks like an absolute stud that just needs some development. He would be an awesome guy to nab late and put behind Geno to battle it out.

I like Spencer Long a Guard out of Nebraska as a Boom or Bust pick in the 5th round!!

This beast ran over Tackles in 2012 and if he didn't blow out his ACL in 2013 he wound of been a 2nd rounder.

The talks been heating up, seems like he's went from who? To a 2nd rounder in a week. Deservably so

I'd be happy if we took a gamble with him in the second. This draft is very deep with offensive talent.

I think we shouldn't drop a 2nd rounder on him... Not a fan of buying high based on a few practices...

We need our top 2 picks to address our receiving core for multiple reasons. We need a stud WR and a safety net TE. Bottom line!

Also we could pick up AJ in the 3rd and it's a safer bet to succeed.

If the coaching staff believes in Garappolo, then I have no problem using a 2nd or 3rd on him. His stock isn't rising simply because of a "few practices." It's confirming what scouts saw on tape and it gives them the opportunity to see how he works in practice/film room, etc.

We do need weapons on offense, but we can get quality WR/TE/RB in the 2-4th.

At 6'3" 205 with a projected 40 time of 4.39 L'Damian Washington is a very overlooked and slept on WR but that tends to happen when your playing with a star like Green-Beckham. I would love to grab this guy in round 5(he's projected for rounds 6-7) but I believe he will climb up draft boards after the combine. Before you ask he is a good route runner and a natural hands catcher of the football with really good body control.

What are people's thoughts on Clemson WR Martavis Brytant? He's 6'5 200 pounds and lined up opposite Watkins and averaged almost 20 yards a catch...though has only caught around 50 balls the last two years. Does he struggle with drops? Is he as raw as Stephen Hill? He had a beautiful toe tapping grab in the Orange Bowl

I don't like Burse. He's lazy, he doesn't help out the QB when the play breaks down (just gives up), and won't block. That's a receiver on a team that throws screens as their running game. Guy has a big entitlement issue if you ask me. He is quick and can get separation, though, but give me a hard working guy with those skills and size in Chandler Jones over a "me" guy who you're asking to be your third or fourth receiver in Burse every time.

    JMO of course.

If he went back to Clemson he'd have a good shot of being a top 3 receiver in next years draft. He's got all the physical tools to succeed, but needs time to develop. You may hear comparisons to Stephen Hill, but I don't see it. Bryant is not only fast in a straight line, he has fantastic quickness & agility. He generally attacks the ball w/ very good body control. He's had some drops, but they're mostly from concentration lapses. He's also limited in the routes he's run at Clemson. I like him a lot as a prospect, but we'd need to show some patience.

I'll go with Kasim Edebali, DE/OLB, Boston College 6-3 252. Had a monster season for BC with 63 tackles, 15 for a loss and 9.5 sacks. He's a speedy, high-energy player that found his way into the backfield quite frequently this season. He's probably a good candidate to try a position change to OLB after playing DE in college. I'd look for him in the later rounds

I don't watch enough college football anymore to truly form solid opinions on these guys. I feel you need to see a guy in at least three separate games. From what I did see from Burse is he can catch the ball well enough to get drafted late. I don't know anything about his desire or love for the game. If he doesn't want to block he won't be in the league long.
