That seems like a silly thing to say. What if we sign Vick? He's obviously a better QB.

    Thank you.

It's astonishing how some people hope for mediocrity.

He was much better than the guy you are named after. we can only hope geno is eventually as good as mark was.

he will not be, he already IS a successful starting Qb in this league w/ one bad year(where no QB would have succeeded) in 4 years.

yep, the mediocrity of the man that led us to the most playoff wins in franchise history by double the amount.

People that understand the game know what was going on here. He'll get a chance again in this league.

It will be an epic mistake if we let Sanchez go.

Sanchez has the same chance to get a new starting job right off the bat that Josh Freeman did. Just saying...

Wrong. Sanchez has had proven to be a successful QB in the NFL. Freeman has not. Most sensible people recognize that our offense had some of the worst talent in the league and that no QB would have had success here...especially in 2012.

the one thing that could hold him back is the shoulder, we don't know how it is healing and what his arm will look like when he starts throwing.

That and the fact that his special move is throwing INT's to defensive linemen.

I hope it's a team loaded with weapons so that way the excuses will either cease (although if he fails they'll say its because of the shoulder) or his supporters will be validated.

That's why I find it far fetched that any GM is seriously talking about him being their started next year.

Forget all the other nonsense, hate the guy, like the guy, the guy just had major shoulder surgery. He may not be able to start throwing until the summer-how does someone make that judgement now?

we should demand a new HC and QB every 3 years! that's what great fanbases do and it's proven that is the way you win.

Accepting mediocre QB play would cause the fanbase to deserve to lose.
And that's what Sanchez has been throughout his career, mediocre.
Give a QB like Brady or Peyton a defense and O-line like the Jets had in 2009-2010 the Jets are a top seed team.

I hate this. This is your crutch for when he fails. All Sanchez supporters come with loads of excuses and caveats.

I suppose if one lived for controversy on a sports message board, one would be a Sanchez Fan and repeat the same tired arguments over and over and over.

I guess it works for some people.

    Moving on here...

you replace your QB when you have a better Qb. Do the Jets have a better QB on the roster than Sanchez?

Manning has had better teams than the 2009-2010 NY Jets annually and guys like Peyton and Brady don't come around often. I wish we had one but considering none are available we have a good QB in mark that helped us win a lot of games including the most postseason games in franchise history. The fact that jet fans(most of which have never seen a SB) cannot acknowledge his contributions is baffling.

yep, b/c he didn't just miss a season b/c of a shoulder injury. I am obviously making it up to make excuses:rolleyes:
