I've hated him since day one and I miss Leon Hess and I'm not afraid to say it. Hess, whatever you wanna say about him, had class. No BS cheerleaders, reasonable ticket prices, and kept lunatics off the team. I know a lot of people compare the Jets seemingly good performance under Woody the Pecker versus Hess, but only a small portion of Hess's time occurred during the FA period (or far enough in that parity had actually happened). Like it or not, there was less parity back then and it is a lot easier to post decent records today. That doesn't make Woody a great owner...... that just means he is speaking somewhere near the cap and has enough dexterity to sign checks. That's a very low bar.
Woody is a much better owner then Hess. After being totally embarrassed by how bad his football team was he brought in Parcells in '97. Other then that you're crazy.
Hess was completely clueless for far too long. He managed to salvage some credibility by hiring Parcells, but 90 plus% of his tenure was a disgrace.

This is just as stupid as a post as Woody's was a tweet. What about when you live 1,000 miles away and have a job that doesn't give you massive time off or pay well enough to spend a years salary of 4 seats and the air fair to go to every games? Does that mean you are less of a fan?

Pretty sure he's just an old man that doesn't know how to use twitter correctly. He was simply replying "It doesn't matter where you live" and the "'True' Jet fans have to have season tickets." was from a previous user. Some of you guys are at the edge lol.
Haha rereading this, that's what it looks like. He was trying to quote that doesn't matter where you live line and ended up making it part of his comment. And when combined with his comment, it reads like you aren't a real unless you have season tickets Good call figuring it out
