lets be serious here. I would be willing to bet that MOST of the Coaches Club seats were bought by Coporate companies so that they own them and can distribute them to clients, customers, co-workers etc. So if these guys in the coaches club are offered Super Bowl Tickets, we know DAMN WELL that they will scoop up every single superbowl ticket that is offered to them.
Whatever the process may happen to be why I have still not received an email explaining how they were going about it? Has anyone else heard anything else besides "we will contact season ticket holders via email when the process is known" ???
This is fukin BS!!! The SEASON TIX Holders that did not reup are getting totally fucked! This is criminal to the full extent. We're all season TIX holders and it's one thing to have a weighted Lottery w/1st dibs going to senority but to have it tied to PSL's is fukin CRIMINAL!!! I TELL YOU AGAIN, WOODY IS A MUTHER FUKER!
I've seen estimates for allocated tickets between 10,000 and 13,500. There are 2000 seats in the coaches club, and while I may be wrong about how many the people holding those accounts will actually buy, You're only losing roughly 2,000 tickets off the top of that 10,000 to 13,500 (and that's assuming that each account holds 2 seats in the new stadium.) So 8,000 to 11,500 seats will be available for the lottery.. Not right, but it's not like all the tickets are going to people who have PSLs, just the Coaches club.
I think you guys should chill and wait for something official to happen and/or the jets win tomorrow. In other just worry about tomorrow
tickets will double the moment the jets win. the triple when the saints (with their 1st super bowl and 3 states away) or vikings(bret favre lovers) drive the price to $5000 per seat.
This is a very good point, because in the aftermath of all this SB ticket quandry going on in the last week or so, the Jets never really clarified where they stand on SB tickets. Even right up to the last minute - nothing but ambiquity (surprise - surprise!). The clearest statement we have on record (that I know if) is what Ellsworth posted in my thread, which basically states that "the Jets are still reviewing the policy but that all Club Seats will be offered 2 SB tickets." Nothing anywhere indicates they will have the old lottery like they had in the past for the entire group of STHers (including Upper Deck). So now, after yesterday's horrific loss, the Jets are not forced to clarify Jack Squat about it right now... more ambiguity... especially for the guys in the Upper Deck. This is why I was going to jump on StubHub immediately following the game, because I couldn't rely on Woody to do what the team had done in the past... include all STHers in a very fair, across-the-board lottery. My guess is they will not announce anything now and keepn us in the dark again (because they don't have to). In fact, they can use the SB tickets as a tool to intice people to buy the rest of their overpriced, last-row, cockamamie PSLs. I would not put it past them to eventually announce that only PSL people will be entitled to enter the lottery, and that the Upper Deck is shit out of luck. Fuck You, Woody Johnson.
I got a Email saying I was not one of the lucky ones & also to remember to reup the STs for 2014
I said I was one of the unlucky ones but if I was lucky enough to have one I would certainly have bought them & put them on Craigs List of the city of the 2 teams who would be playing
