Shaw from Stanford and Bevvill from Seattle (the OC). I don't want either - #keepRex

Anyway we could just demote Rex to DC and get Lovie Smith for HC... Has it ever been done, demoting a HC to a OC or DC?

Rex Ryan is clearly the choice that needs to be made

I love Rex but Shaw would be an excellent replacement not going to lie. Shaw won't be available

Demotions from HC never happen lets end it there

I'd just like to know how the Dolphins are in any way, shape or form tremendously better than the Jets lol

To be fair Rex was buddies with Thurman from his baltimore days so I'm not sure how much of a chance Dunbar had over him in getting the DC spot when Pettine left.

Two guys are staying: Marty Mornhinweg and Karl Dunbar.

Dennis Thurman [DC] and Anthony Lynn [RB] are... a wash. I don't mind them either way.

The rest must be sent packing - and that's about a year too late - at LEAST. This includes:

    Mike Devlin [OL]
    Steve Hagan [TE]
    Sanjay Lal [WR]

    Tim McDonald [Secondary]

BVG is gone already - he must have known he was getting shitcanned.

If Marty thinks he's fine, then he's cool - or that's my take.

David Lee isn't a free agent is he? He's still under contract or, no?

It's unclear so far as I can tell but according to Schefter the Jets assistant coaches are growing weary that their hasn't been any extension and they're free to talk to any team. I don't believe their was any reference to specific coaches.

I haven't seen his name on the same list as the others.
