that game should have been a larger margin of victory except Syracuse turned over a lot in the first.

UNC looked lost after about 12 minutes.

You guys played pretty well. That was a huge game for you. Johnnies don't have any terrible losses yet, but they also haven't beaten anyone. Beating Villanova would have been huge.

St. John's just can't really shoot. Harrison is a high-volume scorer and not efficient. Think Jordan is that right now, too. You play like it's an intramural game, not as much teamwork.

Villanova is deep and talented and just had too much in the end for you.

Glad Creighton beat Xavier so the Big East gets another ranked team most likely. Big East has been a bit of a disappointment in year one, though most other conferences have more bad teams than the Big East.

Lavin is just a terrible in-game coach. It's hard to watch his substitutions sometimes.

Weird game! SU played well but shooting 35% is not a way to win many games. SU just wanted it more. They got more loose ball in that game than I can remember them doing before. I thought UNC did a good job defending SU.

The score was not indicative of the game, we were blowing them out for most of the game and it never got close. They ran off a few baskets in the first 5 mins but after we passed them we pulled away and we're never threatened.

Had it not been for Cooney's off nite we would have won by 20+.

Best part about the game is the refs let them play like it was an old Big East game. Almost no fouls and the game was over in no time.

We're just physically and athletically better than them, but they look to be a young big team.

Too funny UNC was staying in our hotel and their young backup center got on the elevator with us in the am and the guy filled up the elevator.

We really cleaned up the offensive glass and had a ton of blocks. Christmas had blocks in consecutive put back attempts. Outstanding.

Congrats Cuse fans, I look forward to the day when you get to see a real Carolina team. Saturday was certainly not one of them, it's sofrustrating that Manziel gets 10s of thousands of dollars for signing autographs and he misses a qtr, Lance Thomas gets 100s of thousands of dollars of jewelry and nothing happens and PJ Hairston never gets to play for the Heels again.

The Heels don't have any scorers besides Paige and he is in a shooting slump. I didn't even think SU played that well which is a good sign for them, I think if they played well they would have won by 30+. Congrats and good luck, hopefully the younger guys develop a little more and maybe they will meet in the ACC Tourney.

I have never seen a basketball team where all five starters are as good ball-handlers as the starting five of Villanova.

Is that McAdoo guy related to the real McAdoo? He was great in the first half.

yes, his Dad is cousins w/ Bob McAdoo.

He's been a disappointment to most w/ his reputation coming in but I think he's been pretty good and I still think he has a chance to be really good before he leaves Carolina which now looks like it will be after 4 years.

    Thanks junc.

No need to explain about UNC's roster, losing a key player is something Syracuse fans are familiar with too.

It was still an electric game in the beginning minutes, nevertheless.

    GREAT Pics...

Stokes could I rip the shots of the carrier dome for my instagram (@EndlessEight) I can edit them up real nice.

Also, is your son looking to go to Cuse?
    Were you in a fraternity?
    I was in Sammy.

Edit: not the shots with you or your son, the empty shots...

Sure rip away. Yeah, not the ones with my son but the other ones are fine. I thought they'd be clearer, they looked great on my iPhone but not so great on the computer. I also did a slight edit on instagram--chrome effect and auto-enhance--that's the limit of my abilities

My son is already freshman there and no I was not in a fraternity but he is looking to join one soon. He has 3-4 in mind.
