Interesting, but then shouldn't NFL force it? Instead of you know putting the stress on the refs to call these game changing penalties to stop illegal hits, why not also force players to change and get safer
hahaha NYT 4th Down Bot @NYT4thDownBot 1m I'm fine with that FG, but let's face it, at this point I'd rather watch "1st Look: Live at the Red Carpet" on NBC. http://nyti.ms/19nsqM3
I agree with your stance. The helmets as worn by Fitzgerald and John Abraham and Peyton Manning and Revis, etc., are considered to be somewhat safer than the helmets worn by the majority of the players. The league should force all players to wear the safer ones. Willie Lanier and Mark Kelso wore interesting helmets. They offered extra protection
I'm not sure he even had to throw that block - the Charger was in a very bad position to make a tackle.
I never knew that. I always knew it looked different, but never gave it a second though. I wonder why the NFL really hasn't forced players to wear it. I doubt it was just because they were unpopular
How many times are we gonna see a 3-man rush by San Diego. Manning has had a clean pocket for most of the day
Smart run play. Have 3 receivers on one side, at least 3 defenders there. Then maybe a 4th to stop any pick play. Run goes to the opposite side
