http://thejetsblog.com/bga/bga-2014-draft-picks-rundown/ I hope Landry gives us 3rd compensation. Go Colts!
If TB cuts Revis loose - they are basically saying "We do not honor the words in our agreement." I doubt they will invite shady trades from now on just to save their 3rd round pick. It's not even like they salvage the pick - it's either of the pick lost one way or another. Not much to gain, if you ask me.
I can't stand the idea of Pats playing and winning a Superbowl in Metlife. I am the biggest Colts fan today regardless of draft picks.
My only rooting interest in the playoffs is for whoever plays the Pats. Other then that I'm just looking forward to enjoying some good games.
On the Revis deal, the article said Idzik goofed by not adding language that prevents the Bucs from cutting/resigning Revis (and thus our Revis pick drops from 3rd to 4th). But maybe it was Idzik who insisted the Bucs retain their ability to cut Revis because 'you never know'. Maybe the risk of losing one round in the draft versus the (slight) possibility of resigning Revis to the Jets was something Idzik actually thought about?
I'm already expecting a 4th round pick for Laron Landry, if it can be bumped up to a 3rd rounder, then we'd have 3 3rd round picks in a stacked offensive draft! If it wasn't already possible, rooting for the Colts even more. Hope Landry also makes a big impact.
