this is what happens when i leave for a few days..we have brook congratulating us for doing the deed past 50? CBG cuddle up in a rainstorm? Cman telling the youngsters that yeah...past 50 its still possible..and even great damn it! LOL...you guys are the best.

Ok...Im back. Long story short have had a year long thing going on with mom that has gotten worse to say the least...but life goes on...and so does the weather damn it.

Here we go...even not being around I gave you guys this 1 to 3 inches for today so nobody should be surprised..gave it to you last weekend..I checked damn it..so your welcome.

Flooding rains is the story of the day tomorrow..and it will an on and off 2 inches of rain so when it comes down..it comes down. Also, anyone living near major rivers beware of damaging ice blocks..this will be a major story this weekend for some.

Temps in the 50s along with 2 inches of rain and still snow on the ground will produce quite a mess to say the least.

Long term as I mentioned on Tuesdays write up, temps are actually above normal for the next 10 days or so. EXCEPT FOR ONE MAJOR HICCUP.

If you remember back, the models had a possible nice snowstorm for around the 15th and thats back on. While temps will be above normal during the period..timing will play out during that time frame for a storm to come up the coast and possibly give us a major hit on Wednesday...possibly starting right after midnight Tuesday and all day Wednesday.

Reading the models QUICKLY...the EURO has a decent thump..while the GFS American model has an all out snowstorm. Significant because the GFS had nothing and the EURO had a storm going out to sea. SOOOOO..we have something to track during a period that will be warmer than normal.

Will be on tonight for a full write up but this one looks pretty good right now.

EDIT: When the Euro model comes out, it comes out in 24 hour intervals...unlike the GFS which gives you 6 hour intervals for the most part. So when I saw the EURO..it showed a storm in the great lakes..then one on the coast.

ANYONE doing their homework around there should know what kind of storm transfers it energy from one to another....thats right...A MILLER B. I will stop there..but so far Miller Bs have done a good job for us..even if I hate them more than the smell of broccoli.

    I hope so to sensei Cman55. :)

No, you are the best :)

I looked like a rock star again in my work friends eyes. I told about your 1-3 to them and told them to work from home and all worked from home and after seeing the snow on the ground they were thankful. You are the dealer for us weather junkies and you deserve all kinds of recognition.

will do..but this will be directly from their own NWS..so I take no credit for it..for me to look at their maps individually, I would be here until 2am..and then I couldnt give FJF a forecast for next week..lol..hold on.

    saints AT SEATTLE

Saturday Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 11am. High near 49. Breezy, with a southwest wind 16 to 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.

Saturday Night Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a low around 40. Southwest wind 16 to 21 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Looking at their write up real quick...one thing is for sure..it will rain..and the wind might be a factor.

EDIT: Looking at this real quick...no way in hell do the saints go up there in that weather and beat THAT team with that running game and that defense..no way.

Good call CBG asking me to do this...now this too is a REAL interesting forecast.

    Colts AT NEW ENGLAND

Saturday Rain. Patchy fog before 2pm. High near 56. Windy, with a south wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 21 to 26 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 46 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Saturday Night Rain, mainly before 2am. Patchy fog before 4am. Low around 39. Windy, with a south wind 21 to 31 mph becoming southwest 9 to 14 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 46 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Now if all pans out..and this is the same rains we will be getting earlier in the day..these guys will be playing in rainstorm...1 to 2 inches for just at night? Mostly before midnight? Holy crapola. That is a downpour and something to keep an eye on. Check out those winds...better have a running game boys.

    chargers AT DENVER:

Put Sunday night in there just in case things might change in the evening with the later start:

Sunday Partly sunny, with a high near 45. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Sunday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 24. Blustery, with a west northwest wind 8 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Hmm...winds get up there but those numbers to me are more a problem for field goals...qbs should be able to work through them.

Still..all and all it looks like a watching football on Saturday will be very rainy for both games while watching the games Sunday will be nice and sunny...with some wind in the second game.

How is that CBG...not bad huh? Credit goes to the NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.

JUST PUT YOUR CITY AND STATE IN THE BOX AND THIS IS USUALLY A GOOD SITE FOR INFO. Why am I screaming this...the only problem with the NWS is that they are about 6 hours behind with any new updates. Im not

    Doing my homework right now.

One thing Im shocked over is that just went to the store to grab something and the roads are PURE ICE...ICE.

Now the NWS posted a freezing rain warning just about an hour ago if Im reading their write up correctly. This the second time the NWS has screwed up on this. Quite honestly..and Im being totally honest...this is something for an event like this even if I were studying the models I would never see. Its really deep crap. Dew points and temps aloft compared to ground temps... very complicated stuff I only check out during a storm when its supposed to be a snow changing to rain or visa versa. Im not that great on this type of thing but the NWS is.

Reason for all of that is really be careful out there anyone north of lets say 20 miles south of 80. Even the main road, I tapped the brakes a few times to test and the car bucked...but the side roads? You cant even walk on them.

Be careful kids. Checking models now FJF.
