KMART is a good defender, but he naturally wants to leave Lewis in the corner to help protect the paints. It's the same exact thing we would do to teams last year putting Melo at the 4 and forcing Zach Randolph, David West, Serge IBaka, these big 4s chase 3 point shooters on the perimeter. They would sink in and Melo would swing it for the open 3. It was how we hit 3s last year, and Woodson doesn't have his guys prepared for it as the Heat go small
the problem for the Knicsk, they can't play Bargs or Amare by themselves because they are a liability in team defense and 1 vs 1 defense. So they are forced either to limit the minutes of the guy they traded for and the guy worth 100 million dollars, or put them on the court and go big.
That shump heat check was ugly, but he's 3/5 from 3 in the 3rd! The Knicks hanging around, it feels like the Heat/Lakers Christmas day game where you wonder "man maybe we can do this" then the Heat will shut the door in the 4th
D-Wade hitting some tough shots. Lebron dunking it. Other people wide open. Melo hit a couple 3s. Down by 1 only, the strategy of leaving people open not really working. Unless it's Bosh who's 2/9 I think
Not going to fall into trap and get excited. Not going to fall into trap and get excited. Not going to fall into trap and get excited
The Knicks after sucking from October 2013-December 2013, just beat the Spurs and Heat in the same week.
a healthy Raymond Felton is nice. We definitely caught the Heat team on an off night but the offense is looking better which hides the defensive flaws.
Weren't they 5-0 last year against them as well? Which is why the nba made sure the knicks didn't make it far enough to play either.
3-1 against Miami. 2-0 against SA last year. 1-1 against SA this year, 1-0 against MIA this year. Whoa whoa whoa, we're still 1 game back of the 8 seed and 5.5 out of the division. Longgggg way to go I'm just enjoying winning 3 games in a row, I think first time all season we did that
you catch the part of them arguing for several minutes over whether 3 games constitutes a streak? Chicago, Washington, Charlotte... some dreadful teams to catch. Those three should all finish below .500 and if any make the playoffs, it just proves how terrible the conference is.
