The Denver game will be in prime time. There's a good chance the GB game at Lambeau will be as well. Lets hope the @GB and @Min games are early in the year... With Minnesota playing outdoors next year both those games could be played on frozen tundra. I'm thinking we will see NE on week 17. Since they went to the division opponents on the last week of the season, we haven't had NE at the end. We've seen Buffalo and Miami twice. This is the year we catch them at the end. Personally I would like to open at home vs. Miami. For whatever reason Rex's teams have laid eggs in the Miami home game during the annual mid season swoons we've seen from his teams. But his teams usually play well in the openers and this would be nice to beat the fish to start.
The Fellas Annual Road trip -- Been waiting for away game at GB heard it is amazing time! Now to wait for the scheduled dates.
Yeah the week 17 matchup should be against the Patriots. This is the 4th year of the new scheduling and we have yet to see the Pats week 17.
I don't know about that. Even in the seasons before the new scheduling (2000 to 2009), the Pats played Miami and Buffalo 3 times each on week 17, and the Jets 0. Maybe they don't like to match them up that late in the year?
I dont think they like to do it because a Jets-Patriots game earlier in the season will pull an audience rather than having it be played later in the season. Patriots-Bills no one cares about whether it be week 1 or week 17. NBC, NFL, MNF all have gotten the game over the last three years leaving CBS with the other one. CBS wants to make the most of it and probably pulls for it to be in the first half of the season. Next year for example I DOUBT CBS would allow the game to be week 17, unless they got both games. Jets-Patriots is likely to be on SNF or MNF next season with that being said.
I should be finally home during the NFL regular season so I do intent to go to some games. I really want to get to the home opener.
We have not seen the Pats in week 17 because Bob Kraft has tremendous pull. The Rex Ryan led NY Football Jets is the LAST team the Pats want to face on the last Sunday of the regular season. Most teams like going into the playoffs on a high note.
They didn't put the Giants vs Denver as a Primetime game and that's Eli vs Peyton.. What makes you think they would put Jets vs Broncos as a Primetime game?
There are very good Jets road trips next year. GB of course, and SD's always good. My friend has seen them in Nashville and says that's a great time too. As far as the home games go, I wish the NFL would intervene and swap home/away to prevent the same teams meeting in the same city repeatedly like they used to do. As a season ticket holder I don't need to have Steeler and Raiders fans around me AGAIN next year. Then again, we were in Pittsburgh in '12 so its going on three years in a row playing them. At least the Raiders are terrible, and that'll probably be a W. There are only two games featuring different opponents next year. TB, NO out, Lions, Bears in.
no idea what you're talking about. Oh and its clear we'll go 15 -1 next year, geno will throw for 5,000 yards and thrash peyton's TD record, ivory will run for 3,000, the defense will turnover the ball at least 5 times a game, and Rex will levitate in the air the whole time only getting on the ground to make Belichick kiss his converse. the one loss will be week one just to lull our week 2 opponent into a false sense of security. just my humble opinion, anything less and I'll be so disappointed I'd rather tebow come in and coach.
San Diego NY Jets is pretty likely for a primetime game I would think. In SD, SD playoff team but small market so they will want primetime games against large market teams. I predict it as a MNF game.
