The MODs are free to move. I had already conceded the fact that I wasn't sure it was the correct forum.

No one will trade for Sanchez no one is that stupid. His contract is ridiculous and no ones going to pay it even if he wasn't terrible. He'll be released and picked up as a backup.

Taco will be a Raider next year and will return for a beat down at Jetlife that very same season if I remember correctly.

For the sake of clarity, I've never "looked for a way to trade" Sanchez. What you may have recalled is that I've expressed the interest of salvaging some value out of the investment which is Sanchez. A trade would certainly fall under that category, just as him being our 2014 starter, back-up or just TC competition for Geno.

I don't think an upgrade is necesarilly a need for them. If i'm the Bengals I would have no problem going into next year with him as my QB. But, if I saw an opportunity to upgrade via the draft I would. He's one of those guys whose decent but not real good.

Example being if somebody like Manziel, Bridgewater, or the UCF QB fell a little and they thought they could trade up to get him. Then I might make a move. Otherwise if I were them I would stick with Dalton. Maybe draft a QB in the 3rd or 4th round if there was somebody they liked who was available.

Although at the same time you have to think if your the GM and owner, is a good QB the only thing holding you back from being a great team? They have a tough decision to make.

I hope Sanchez goes to Cincy and starts. I'm tired of the excuses, with all that talent like Eifert, Gresham, Green, Jones, Sanu and their talented defense. Let's see how they play with Sanchez I would love to eat crow.

The Bungles. Even when they're good, they're never really good.

Don't worry it wont happen lol. The Bengals would be crazy to start Sanchez over Dalton.

Dalton is average, Sanchez is way below average.

Why not eat crow while having it benefit your team instead of another conference rival?

How about Tampa? They're another team with talent all over the place.

My desire to see Sanchez play with talent has outweighed my desire to see him gone. If the Jets build up the talent so that there is no excuses about lack of talent then sure. If he bombs I don't wanna hear no excuses about lack of talent or bad oc's. If he strives then I'll eat crow.

Sanchez's track record in the playoff must not be overlooked.

Unlike some other QBs, while Sanchez might have sucked during the regular seasons, he did pretty well in the postseason, where he played all 6 on the road and got 4 wins out of it.

But we all know he's a bust. Unless he takes a massive paycut, he's getting cut [1] and nobody is touching him with 10-foot pole [2]

Do you like the idea of adding Sanchez on top of another Sanchez on this Jets roster? What makes you think Vikes will love that idea?

If i'm Tampa i'd rather just continue trying to develop Glennon.

Could bring Sanchez in to push him though.

I agree with you. I'm just naming teams with talent on offense. Because I'm just about sick of hearing how Sanchez can be good if he has top talent. So I want to see this happen so one way or the other we will get our answer.

Dalton has been a good QB in general, and there have been stretches where he's played the position at the top of the league. We ran into him during one of those stretches this season.

The Bengals would be insane to think Mark Sanchez would be an upgrade. He's been a bottom of the league passer for his entire career. I would think Dalton gets at least another couple of years before they think about taking his job away.

BTW -- keep in mind, Dalton's playing 4 games a year against the Ravens defense and the Steelers defense. You think they'd be confident sending the most panicky QB in the league out there for those 4 games? Would you?

I think we should add at least 2 more Sanchez to our roster. That way there will be enough Sanchez to go around for all the fanboys.

Some of you guys sure like to act like jerks. Sanchez, like him or not (I don't), has been a Jets player for the last 4-5 years. Even if he is released and goes elsewhere, it is still Jets-related news, and will be of interest and a point of discussion for some Jets fans on this site.

I'm relatively new here and I didn't even know there was an NFL thread here, as it isn't listed in the main threads. I only found it because my thread was moved here, and then I discovered that one could get to this thread via the drop down box in the bottom right corner of some pages
