Packers blew it, should have had the pick, should have had the 3rd down stop on the run, should have blocked the kick.

Was it just me or did the packers look complacent with losing?

Their d just fucking falls apart year after year, and Rodgers can't get protection to save his life.

yeah I also thought he might block it

guy came through untouched I guess

barely missed blocking it and forcing OT (assuming no TD on the block, heh)

Come on, the D showed up today. 20 pts on offense was not enough. Anyone would have signed up for the Packers D to hold the 49ers to 23

If SF had an accurate QB this game would've been a blowout. Sure he made some nice runs, but he threw a pick, then he threw another (which GB dropped) and he is so inaccurate on many of his throws. Davis had his man beat twice for a long ball and nr. 7 wasn't even close. Green Bay can't stop a nosebleed and SF WR's were open the whole game. How this game ended up going down to the wire, I have no clue.

Damn I like rooting for the Packers...Not a big fan of the Kaepernick Niners.

    Goes both ways

Another QB would not have sliced up GB with his legs.

He did it to them last year and again this year.

So no, he's not an elite passer, but his running makes him very dangerous.

2013 division round: SF wins 45-31, Kaepernick throws for 263, runs for 181
2014 wild card round: SF wins 23-20, Kaepernick throws for 227, runs for 98

That bolded part there is a reason why SF won't win a SB with him at QB. Eventually the run into someone with a good enough defense, Kaepernick will get confused and throw 1-2 picks to lose the game. He's the modern Michael Vick. Those runs sure are nice, but I'd rather have a QB who can hit a wide open receiver.

it is harder to win a SB that way but I wouldn't say they can't.

What makes it tough this year is they were in the division with the best team in football, and thus have to win at least one more road game.

Lines for next week (in order of when the games will be played):

    Seattle -8
    New England -7
    Carolina PK
    Denver -9.5

Someone wake me when Andy "Clutch" Dalton wins a playoff game...home, road, or neutral site, I don't care.

I know, I just want fans to realize the glass wasn't 90% empty with him and 90% full with all these other also-rans.

Not really...lots of guys have 4 road wins in the playoffs, though they needed years to accomplish it:

    Manning

    Brees

    Brady

    Rothlesiberger.

    Anybody can do it.

Nope, they know they have a Free Pass from the media and fans....the heat is going on Ted Thompson for not having enough depth and Capers (though he was missing 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 starters, I lost track).

Those guys win their division so they don't get the chance to play a lot of road games.

Dont worry my friend, Sanchez will succeed elsewhere while this unappreciative fanbase will be jealous.

I don't know, came too close to winning the Super Bowl last year for me to definitively say he will never win one. He's a better passer than Vick.
