Was a good day of football. two very good games for different reasons.

In both cases the superior QB carried the day. No knock against either of today's losing QB's, overall the QB play today was excellent.

The Eagles stayed relatively healthy, I felt so bad for KC though they lost Charles, Avery, and Flower to concussions I think.

National Weather Service winter storm warning for Cincinnati, predicting 4-8 inches of snow Sunday. Yep, right in time for Chargers-Bengals.

Arg. The over rated Colts get lucky again as Luck lives up to his name. Can't believe the Chiefs blew that big of a lead with the alleged great defense they have. What a badly played & coached 2nd half. Oh wait, they played shit teams all year. No surprise. The only chance the Colts have next round is if they face the pats. Any other team splatters them. Chiefs were way over rated by their record.

The ridiculous thing about that game was that one week before San Diego had played the famous "Epic in Miami" overtime football game in the heat and humidity in Miami, winning 41-38 and setting all sorts of offensive records in the process. That was the famous game where Kellen Winslow overcame a pinched nerve in his shoulder, dehydration, severe cramps, and a gash in his lower lip to set a record with 13 receptions, while also blocking the Miami FG that would have won the game as time ran out in the 4th quarter. Imagine going from that to one week later a wind chill of -59 degrees. The picture below of Winslow being helped off the field after the game is famous.

What did the Chiefs in was mostly injuries to Charles and Flowers and Houston later in the game in Houston's case. Once Flowers went down there was a huge hole in the Chiefs secondary as their starting unit is pretty solid but lacks depth.

So you're saying despite the Colts defeating the Broncos just a few months ago, that if they end up facing them they have a 0% chance of winning? Wow great contribution to the board...

For me personally, IDK what I want. I was just a kid during this time, but from 1997 thru 2001 I was a Bronco "fan." Then I made the permanent switch over to our NYJ. My best friend was the same way, but he never made a switch, still a big Bronco fan to this day.

On one hand I want the Broncos to lose so I don't hate myself for years to come for switching to an inferior team. On the other hand I want them to win it all so I can feel good for my buddy. Regardless, I want the Patriots to lose. That is the #2 goal. The #1 goal is another Packers SB. Man it would be epic if they beat the Patsies in the SB.

I feel like the Colts provide a much bigger threat than the Bengals, or Chargers. The Bengals have the potential the Colts have, but not from behind more than 1 td. Luck>Dalton. So IDK if I'd love to see the Colts face the Pats, so the Pats have a more likely one and done case, or if I want them to face the Broncos, so I can grin widely if, and when they help Manning choke out.

That effort by Winslow is #2 in my book for best game ever by a player. #1 is Baugh vs Detroit in '43 when he threw four touchdown passes and intercepted four passes. Actually have seen both games.

I have not liked the Colts defense at any point this year. This is why I took the over yesterday in Yisman's vBetting thread. They were fortunate Charles was knocked from the game. The Chiefs probably would have scored at least one more touchdown.

Denver-Indy would be such a great game next week. Especially considering the Patriots will have already been played which would add to the hype if the Patriots were to win.

Both games were great yesterday. A total of three points difference between the winners and losers. Don't really care about Chargers and Bengals but 49ers and Packers should be a good game.

"dont stand a chance" implies you think the game will be a blowout. How often do good teams get destroyed twice against the same team in the same season? I bet we can find some examples, but there probably isn't many.

Great games yesterday, went 1 for 2 in my picks - I had KC winning with a late FG, could have been except for Smith's intentional grounding penalty took them out of range.

I don't expect either game today to be very good - predicted blowouts for the Niners and Bengals. It really is mind boggling how many people are picking the Packers, I just don't see anywhere near the same talent level - will see if Rodgers can pull some magic.

I really think if there is an upset to happen that it will be in the AFC, with a Dalton/M Lewis choke and Rivers lighting it up, but I do not even think the chance of that is that good.
