This is also what is wrong. Your post indicates you did not watch the Rams in 2013. (Quinn was to Wilkerson what P. Manning was to Rivers or Brees this year.) People need to watch more teams besides their own. Saying that Wilkerson not making the Pro Bowl is a disgrace when you haven't watched other teams play is silly.

The Pro Bowl player draft will air on Wednesday, January 22 on NFL Network. Players will practice with their teams on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The coaching staffs will be from the losing teams in the AFC and NFC Divisional playoffs with the best regular-season record. The 2014 Pro Bowl takes place on Sunday, January 26 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii, and will be televised by NBC.

I still hope Wilk goes. I live in Hawaii and would love to meet him somehow.

Maybe some are curious about this format, but I don't like it.
If you get teammate against teammate, it's a recipe for disaster
Either possibility of an injury, or, more likely, a diminished effort.

As for interior lineman, given the way the intensity of the game has denigrated, why even send them. It's hardly more than A flag or touch-type skills match-up

Wilkerson made 2nd team All-Pro, which is all that really counts

6 DEs make the pro bowl... The fact that Wilkerson was not one of SIX is ridiculous.

Uh, there's more than one DE that goes to the pro bowl in the league and yeah I've seen plenty of other teams play. Just saying. Wilks made 2nd team AP anyway, which is >>>> than pro bowl. If he didn't make it, it WOULD be a disgrace, as he grades out as the #2 or #3 (can't remember exactly) in the league, especially when you consider he's a 3-4, who's not supposed to get a heck of a lot of sacks. It's a joke because fans votes > skill grades. Saying I just haven't watched others teams is such a cop out. If you've watched the Jets and looked at the stats, you know that he belongs in the top 6.

That is not what I was responding to. The other guy was indicating he felt Wilkerson is the #2 end in the league.

I agree Wilkerson belongs in the Pro Bowl. I do not agree he was the second best end.

I just think it's gonna be fun to watch a couple NFL players and fantasy winners pick the teams.

Players will be assigned to teams through the Pro Bowl Draft, in which two leading vote getters will join two NFL.com fantasy football champions -- who will attend the Pro Bowl -- to draft players. One of these champions will earn their spot as part of Lenovo's Fantasy Coach of the Year program, which provides NFL.com fans a chance to be rewarded for their fantasy football skills. The other champion can compete for a Pro Bowl role by playing at NFL.com/fantasy.

The NHL one was fun watching a couple players picking. You can tell they go after their buds as well as who they think is best.

I really don't give a shit about the game itself at all, as I have previously posted.

This is a very, very negative black mark on the GM & HC & Scouting Dept. Hard to believe that we do not have 1 player who has the abilities needed to make it to Hawaii

Come on! We all know this is a popularity contest and not the final word on who is a real aal-star.

I'm not even a Jets fan and I can plainly see that Wilkerson is an all=pro and should have been picked.

I agree it might be somewhat funny to watch the draft. I also may watch some of the game this year too. Imagine if Josh Gordon and T.J. Ward are on the field at the same time? Would Ward actually try to tackle Gordon or would he just touch him and hope that Gordon would concede the play to be over at that point?

Especially the reactions from guys picked LAST at their respective positions!

The NHL one was live with the players there getting coming up to the stage when picked and sitting in their section.

  15. This should help the Jets save some cap room when they go to extend big Mo. He did deserve to get in though.Dominant player.
