I guarentee you we will open with the Phins to, NFL likes to put matchups early that could end up being sour if they are played later in the season because one of the teams becomes irrelevant. Jets-Phins would be a hot matchup early. It might not be so hot at the end of the season.

a thought occurs to me, we'll have played the titans 4 straight seasons in a row from 2012-2015, since we matched their place in the south twice in between the years where we play other divisions.

the last two times we've played our QB's have shat the bed... ugh....

I was actually wondering the same thing. I get the conference rotation and all but how did we get Tennessee both "off years" - in between the 3 year AFC East vs South rotation? I thought those extra two games rotated among divisions also? I can see one year but not both......especially both games - 2013 and 2014 are/will be played in same location?? I know the 2015 game will be in NY as per the natural rotation but since in 2013 the AFC East hosted the AFC West in the one extra game and the AFC East traveled to the AFC South in the other extra game it appears they are following the same formula for 2014. Shouldn't it be switched around this time so the AFC South team travels to the AFC East team? A team should not be hosting the same non-division team three years in a row......

I could also see Jets Bills as a possibility. You get the Geno vs EJ angle. Two young QB's leading their respective teams and both from the same draft class. If these two teams get good at the same time it would make a real interesting rivalry.

How many Primetime games do you think we get this year? Because we exceeded expectations, I feel we will go back up to 4 this season... One Monday night, One Thursday night, and two Sunday nights..

Seems whenever we play the NFC North we make the playoffs.

Doubt we get 4. We were only 8-8. I say one Monday night game and one Thursday night game.

No way they only give us two.. 3 at minimum... We are still a New York team and at 8-8 and looking very promising we should deff have more than this year.

We will get three primetime games most likely. We had two this season, so likely a SNF game early on.

Jets-Bears might be a primetime game to look out for.

I've never been to an NFL game before. I will be at the San Diego game, probably with my good friend who is a Pats fan. I May get to go to both. I'm excited.

I'm thinking of buying a jersey to wear. Maybe @Godforshort or Ivory...

The Pats get it worse. Pencil in the Colts and Bengals for your Steelers and Titans...

Same. My buddy and his dad went out in 2010 too see Pack/Phins(my buddy's a Dolphin fan, and his dad is a packers fan so it killed 2 birds with 1 stone) and they had a blast. From tailgating, to just the ambiance of Lambeau.

    I agree with this.

What I hope for is that we're at home in week 17. Since MetLife stadium opened we've always had to play week 17 on the road.

It's either we get the opener or the away game... Personally, I like the opener.

I wouldn't mind rotating the opener/finale. There might be a year where we might prefer to play week 17 at home especially with playoff implications.

I'm not going to get amped or depressed about this schedule till we see what transpires during the offseason not just with the Jets but with the other teams.
