oh...was just checking models..and looked out west..omg...greenbay game may not hit zero degrees. Will be below zero before game end. minus 2 is the high for the day as of now. WOWOWOWO.

It's more of a steady fall than a heavy fall here in Brooklyn. I'm on the second floor so I'm not really sure just how much is out there right now, but definitely looks to be a solid amount. Very peaceful. Except the plow that rumbles down my street every once in a while.
weather.com puts my area at 5.1" accuweather says 0.63" of precipitation which would be almost 6" of snow I just know one thing for sure: I can't find the phone number to call to see if the base is open tomorrow.

Yeah cbg...philly is another one in the freezer..not nearly as bad..but about 50 degrees colder than the dome i would think. Im about 5 or 6 now...and the wind has really picked up. Looking at radar it seems we have another 4 or 5 hours of snow left. Just that intensity wise, Im not sure if there is inch an hour stuff in there. I have tried to be very careful but have wanted to hint at slightly lower amounts. I used to do that in the past because I just didnt like what the radar was showing only to have it fill in and catch up. I would say I went to post 3 times about that but said..nope..not fooling me again. It does seem although everyones predictions will hit because of the old 6-10 stuff because 6 is a no brainer...I really thought this setup would over perform but that heavy stuff just couldnt get out of central NJ. AND IT STILL CAN..but its getting late. I think 8" will happen for most. Im interested to see how Long Island plays out. Snowing very hard there right now. We still have some really good bands to go...have seen this before where two good bands come through and poof..another 3 or 4 inches of snow. We shall see but this one was fun to track from the beginning...I have to look back and see when I liked this setup. I remember originally liking it for New Years Eve/Day and then pushing it back. AGAIN..ITS NOT ME..ITS MODELS...and knowing when models are consistent in the long range. Fun stuff. Next up..blowing snow and very cold wind chills tomorrow and tomorrow night..and the rain and flooding Sunday night/Monday...followed by very very very cold temps Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.
LOL..and just as I say that the radar just expanded by 30 percent..and thats a ton. Still a long...LONG way to go with this. Amazing..I jinx myself as a hobby it seems. Next weekend has a storm on it..not a biggie..but the setup is not great. Im sure another storm will pop up before but I really like the setup for the middle of the month..14th? to 16th around. A gulf of Mexico storm hopefully which will be a bit easier to deal with..yeah right...doubt it will get any easier but the models actually did pretty good with this one. If you remember, I mentioned one thing that helps me is the storm showing up on a model..then losing it a bit..only to comeback so you have to stick with that theory or you will be all over the place even more than it is already.
