    Wow another conspiracy theorist.

I guess you think the refs have it out for the Jets too.

You're wrong, Johnny football has much better wheels than the genome will be able to avoid the rush more efficiently. In addition, Johnny has a better arm & a much better pocket presence, he will perform head over heels better than geno.

Cart before horse here. How many times did Manziel get wiped out in college by a big fast defensive lineman?

That's the huge question that he'll face coming into the NFL.

He doesnt have a better arm than Geno, everything else you are probably right.

I should have been more clear, by better arm I'm referring to his release, which allows his ball to travel from point A to point B much quicker than geno's. geno's release IS HORRIBLE,
he flaps his arms like wings on every throw, to me that contributed greatly to him throwing so many pick 6's, the DB's know when he starts that flapping the balls coming out & get a great jump on it, hence the numerous pick 6's.

Manziel has one of the quickest releases I've ever seen. It more than makes up for any "lack" of arm strength he may have. I really hope teams are scared to draft him because he will fall right into the Jets' lap.

Well there's a huge difference between "arm" and "release". Also, I think you are severely overplaying this "flap". It maybe adds at most 2 tenths of a second. Id say its closer to a tenth of a second. I highly doubt that is why Geno threw picks/pick 6's. His release isnt great, but hopefully it will get cleaned up this offseason.

This is a moot point because Manziel wont even sniff our pick. I think you should get used to the idea that Geno will be our QB next offseason (whether I think he should or not).

what, you don't think he'll be hopping around and hurtling guys as the pocket collapses in the pros?

He'll certainly be trying to do that.

I feel much better about him this year than last year but I still would be worried if we picked him. still not 100% sold.

I worry about his ability to handle the media pressure of NY, in particular the Jets, as I think it's tougher here than with the Giants. He doesn't have thick enough skin IMO or an overwhelming inner drive to get past it.

He's not going to last past Cleveland at the 4. That's where he's going. So thankfully the Jets front office wont be faced with the difficult decision of him sitting there at their pick.

I'm pretty certain his talent will translate to the NFL, not so certain his body will.

He avoids the big hits, because he is so fast and reacts exceptionally well. Reminds of Russell Wilson like that.

I think if he's there at 18, Idzik takes him. But he wont slip that far.

That's the last thing I'd be worried about.
