Ah "MrE". I hated that dude and his dominions. JStokes is nowhere near as obnoxious.

I would be happy with Ebron. He looks too be a stud play maker at TE and we can def use as much play makers as possible.

I use to think the same thing of Pierre Garcon and he turned out to become a prototypical #1/2 WR.

It might take Watkins a while to develop. Then again, it might not, then what? Gordon's happy in Cleveland and wants to stay. Draft Watkins and he might not be so happy all of a sudden. I still can't see Cleveland taking Watkins. It would be one thing to take a WR in the 2nd round or lower, where there will still be excellent prospects at great value. With the way Manziel played in the 2nd half tonight, I can't see him dropping to #18, either. If Cleveland like him, they may have to take him where they are, or only trade down a few spots then grab him.

It would be very nice to be able to trade down for once, garner an extra pick or two, and still get a very good player. If several teams still need/want a QB and get into a bidding war for the Jets pick, so much the better. I hope Idzik will take them for all he can get. If he does trade down, however, both the player he picks lower down, and the 2nd or 3rd round pick he gets had better pan out. Tuna killed the Jets with his trading down.

With regard to Lewan, you may be right, but if Howard gets greedy with what he wants, the Jets could draft Lewan and plug him in.

Agreed. I wonder if Lee is going to make a move up the boards coming out of the combine once he shows that he is back to health.

I think for a lot of folks around here the similarities to Santonio's game are a turn off, but the more I think about it, a younger version of Santonio with a bit more pace and a great attitude would actually be a great addition!

I'll repeat when Lee was healthy and had a QB to throw him the ball he put up the best numbers out of the big 3 and it wasn't close. It was done with another NFL caliber WR opposite him and in a pro-style (i.e., not "air raid") offense.

Marqise Lee is one of those guys that you look at and you know if he doesn't get hurt he's going to have a long and prosperous career. He's not Santana Moss, he's Santana Moss with some real toughness to him both physical and mental.

I'd rather keep the 18th pick & take Manziel for ourselves.

Love those top 2 picks. Pretty much what I'm hoping for. Great mock.

As for ND players, TJ Jones and Martin are intriguing. But as always, I just don't trust ND players in the NFL. I feel that we always end up with the wrong recruits year in and year out because we're getting the players that are more interested in being on national TV than just playing for a solid program, if that makes sense. Additionally, ND athletes really do spend more time on school than other athletes (not all programs, but most I'm sure). It comes down to the question of would I rather have a player from a major program who basically majored in football over a player that wanted the national exposure of ND and who had to actually focus some attention off the field. I just don't know that they're as motivated or as prepared for the NFL as top players from other programs (and I'm well aware that this is a very big generalization, but I think there's at least some truth to it).
