Man Jon, I highly doubt they will cancel thursday because if they are vaginas..they will close friday. Its too light of snow right now for thursday morning...will keep an eye but my guess is school thurs with MAYBE a early dismissal? no school friday.
You just cant dismiss a storm..and the funny thing is the guy who does not want the storm...if you go by the american model...jon jon..is back in the picture to get 8-12 inches from this storm. The only thing I have ever learned about models is the MOST of the time...7 days out when they give you a big storm...they trend one way until around 3 days before the storm..then they trend back to sometimes where they were...and quite honestly, I wouldnt throw this storm out from being a big one for anyone north of I80 at least..not a bit.
Im sure some of you have heard of Joe Bastardi...good weather guy..sometimes extreme..but smart..he just posted this on his twitter account: Blizzard to near blizzard conditions likely for a few hours NJ to New England late Thu night/Fri am. GFS will get stronger now every run GFS..American Model..leading the way back to a huge storm? Only tonites Euro will tell us if thats true at 1am. Model runs to follow tonight that WILL tell the tale: NAM 930...jaywayne...not around GFS 1030..jaywayne...not around Euro 1am..back in the house..will update you then on all. Just looked at the temps for thursday night..the coldest I can ever remember a really hard snowing was the blizzard of 96 when temps were in the mid to upper teens during the storm. On Thursday night, temps during the height of the storm will match that..which means very very high snow ratios. Im just getting the feeling that all the bad news from the models is going to be corrected in future runs..still in the running for a major storm.

fjf..that number is a joke..i would multiply it by 6 with the first number and 4 with the second number..and lean toward the second number.
