Revis is a great corner and the Bucs have $15 million or so in cap space. He's not getting cut.

Next year, however, should the Bucs have another bad year, I could see a reunion with a humbled and more mature Revis.

The funny thing is, as bad as Milliner was for 85% of the season, he got more picks than Mevis! Fuck him

Awful post . Milliner shut down Josh Gordon and Mike Wallace to close out his season. Oh yeah, Milliner was a ROOKIE.

    Big steps made, leaps.

Couldn't disagree more. Milliner had a very strong final 3rd of the season in my eyes. He's going to be a very effective starting corner for us.

Yeah these last two games really opened my eyes, matched up 1 on 1 no safety help on Josh Gordon and Mike Wallace and he played like a beast.

Not that I want Revis back but if Jason Taylor can put on a Jets uniform than Revis can certainly come back.

Well to be fair, Gordon almost topped a hundred yards on 6 catches. That's not really an insult to Milliner as he had a great final four games.

16 targets and 6 catches. Milliner gave up 6 yards a throw, which is excellent.

Drew Brees torched him yesterday ... We'll take him back at $6m and not a penny more ... Let him go and get another 1 year contract somewhere else ... He is a legend in his own mind ...

It'd be pretty hilarious if he wound up like Asomugha, another guy who proved to be overrated after he went to another team.

not what he is talking about at all. he is talking about Rex being responsible for the inflated the perception of Revis, not being responsible for his on field abilities.

If his knee is still not 100% there is no guarantee it ever will be so Revis not at 100% leaves the Bucs in the bottom half of the league in pass defense.
You don't throw $16 mil at that, use the $16 mil from Holmes and Sanchez cap savings to go get Byrd and Orakpo instead.

Revis at least got his wish of getting 16M - but only for 1 year.

If TB cuts him he will go to New England and you can bet on that.

Some other team will pay him more than NE, money is more important than wins.

Man, imagine if Revis was dropped and we got him on a reasonable contract? Basically loaning him to TB for a year for Sheldon Richardson and a 4th rounder.

I originally felt Revis was going to get cut but with the Lovie Smith hiring I think he stays. I still dont think Revis plays out the entire contract, he will be cut/restructured within 3 years
