Exactly, but I hope you will concede that the notion of trading up for Teddy and giving up one of our stud DL or hard to come bye draft picks that we so desperately need is utterly ridiculous.

The bonus is the Jets would still have 3-4 picks in this draft even if they traded everything, though granted most if not all would be rounds 6 and 7, maybe 1 5th, since you can't trade comp picks.

I think the point really is of the preceding 200 or so posts is that apparently one poster has decided that the Jets should Ditka their entire draft for RGIV from Louisville and is fighting his Don Quixote battle with the roughly 70-80 other posters who think this a] wrong b] misguided and/or c] impossible/moot by calling them names, insulting and attacking them and questioning their lack of college football knowledge or viewing hours

However, since it is only the internetz, such conduct is acceptable and peachy keen

Watch some college football sg3 before you get banned again.

You haven't been posting as sg3 here much, did you delete the username before you were permabanned?

You haven't been posting on JetsInsider much, is it really a permaban or just like a 2 year screw you?

Why are you always getting permabanned?

Some type of personality disorder I'd imagine.

Lol, how do you get permabanned on an Internet fan forum.

To funny. But not in that ha ha type of funny.

The sad pitiful type of funny.

Heh heh, never said the JETS should :)
But, to be fair if a GM is absolutely sure Bridgewater is a true dyed in the wool elite franchise QB type then yeah, you pull the trigger. an elite QB can get you in to the playoffs year after year.

That said, I wouldn't trade a whole draft for him, but I would be willing to do an RGIII type trade....

Extremely overrated. The conferences he's played in were total steaming hot trash. He's not that good

Don't pay attention to the noise, he is not running a spread offense. He does all the pro things necessary to be a very good to elite qb in the league.

The only thing that he needs to fix is that throwing motion

He rolled miami who was 9-4 in the ACC

BS. I guess that means that Jerry Rice was extremely overrated because he played for Miss. Valley St. and didn't play anyone good in college. Similarly, I guess that means that a lot of guys in the HOF don't belong because they couldn't really have been that good since they went to small schools, or non-Division I schools.

He's damn good, but I dont think he's worth an RGIII type deal. Not to mention, trading from 18 up to 1 is going to take a serious package. Not worth it IMO.

BS. Your posts are obviously designed to show what a dick you are. It's guys like you who ruin Jets boards.

I'd like to see us draft offense with our first 2/3 picks with a safety in the 3rd/4th. If we had the pick I'd be for taking Bridgewater but it's just not worth trading up when we have so many other needs that we won't be able to address. We are finally going to be out of cap hell, let's draft some good young players. One way or another we will know if Geno is the guy next year. If he isn't we will have a high round pick and can draft a top notch QB to go with our 2nd year offense from the 2014 draft.

Really as bad as this team is, 100% take the BPA...sadly the Jets wind up drafting #18, which isn't a killer in the first round but drafting that low hurts in the middle to late rounds.

Will cost too much to move up, with that said, I think Teddy is going to be a stud top 10 QB. He's a much better thrower than RGIII.

He also EMBARRASSED Florida last year in their bowl game, who had the 2nd best defense in the SEC.

    The RG3 package was:

2012: 1st round pick (#6 overall), #2 nd round pick
    2013: 1st round pick
    2013: 1st round pick.

This was to move from #6 overall to #2 overall. We have the 18th spot. I can't imagine what it would take to move to #1 overall.
