For example, NO finished with one game better record than ARZ. However ARZ had to play SEA and SF 4 times while NO got to play ATL and TB 4 times. That's only part of their division and doesn't even include the AFC teams or the two NFC teams based on standings It isn't fair, in the example of taking 6 best teams, for ARZ to finish behind NO when their schedules are not really the same. The system right now is flawed, like most systems will be, but it's not broken. It's known going in, win your division, you lock up a playoff spot and a home game. Lose your division, better get some help
Except that the Niners have pretty much owned the Pack the last couple years, home or away. There's no reason you can't do a hybrid system like the NBA and just re-seed the entire first round based on record. Division winners should get an automatic berth but they shouldn't get home field in the first round unless they earn it.
The only potential flaw is if somehow the two best teams are in the same division (say the Hawks and Niners finished with the best records). It wouldn't be ideal to give a second-place team a bye. So maybe just amend it to the top two division winnners get a bye and everyone else reseeded.
Bears fans must be sick. What a way to blow a game! Steeler fans must be totally ticked off at the Chiefs. K.C. ran their 2nd string against S.D. and the Chargers still needed OT to win. I hope the Eagles stomp the Cowboys. I love to see Jerry Jones lose.
A win here could finally convince big head that Romo isn't the answer. Sent from my LG-LS720 using Tapatalk
What an awesome Sunday of football. Season should end just like this. A do or die drive with no Romo involved. Let's see if Dallas can finally prevail. Sent from my LG-LS720 using Tapatalk
I don't know how Jerry can continue to be at these games. Time and time again he looks as if he wants to just say F it all. Sent from my LG-LS720 using Tapatalk
Good for Chip. Hopefully he can keep it up. SEA/CAR would LOVE to see PHI knock off NO and GB knock off SF
