If Rex were to get fired, he never had a chance this year. And all Jets fans should be pissed as this shows Idzik had to keep Rex a year to save Woody money. We should call for Woody's head.
I don't think Rex was ever going to get fired. Idzik does not want to give him an extension, and I agree with him. Rex blew that smoke up the media's ass in a game of chicken with Idzik, trying to force his hand extend or fire. He doesn't want to look like the ass and walk out on the Jets. Idzik should stick to his guns and not extend Rex.

3-2 in December. 2 game winning streak at the end. Back-to-back wins for the first time all season. Lots of goodness late for the Jets which is a marked change from the last two seasons. They beat the Fins too. Rex can stay.
