Stop posting bullshit, makes it too easy to respond to.

Why don't you just go dump on some other soon to be ex-Jets, it's what you enjoy most, it seems.

Yeah, it's really insane to be spouting about giving up the Jets best player, who is a 24 year old defensive end/tackle, for a prospect QB. The guy has to be Andrew Luck to think about doing something like that and he just isn't in that class of player.

If Mo Wilkerson was in this draft he'd be the first pick given what we know about him. 315 lb defensive linemen who move like 265 lb defensive ends are really rare.

    OK. I'll take that bet.

Jameis Winston win a SB before Teddy BW. And that's giving Teddy a 2yr NFL head start.

    Also what you enjoy.

Followed up by (i) responding to said ignoree and (ii) reminding everyone that you have said ignoree on Ignore.

Go back to JetsInsider. Oh, wait, you can't, you're permabanned.

I find it funny after 1 massive season of Winston and 2 massive seasons of Teddy and 1 pretty good one that you can declare Winston twice the player Teddy ever was and ever will be.

    Again, too funny.

I think he has comparable skills to Geno. And they both did not run the read option all that much in college even though they both can run. Let's see what happens today. He had that terrible stretch of three games where many fans including me questioned his ability as an NFL Qb. If Geno has a good game then he finished the season on a high note and gives reason to believe he could be an good option to start next season. In that case I wouldn't draft Bridgewater (and go through the same thing we went through this season with Geno) but I would sign a good, experienced veteran Qb who can compete and start if Geno doesn't win the job or play well in 2014. No more sticking with a guy whose playing terribly. But there is maybe an upside with Geno who seems to be a willing worker and coachable. Love to see him have a big day today against the Fins. And knock them out of the playoffs. Go Jets.

LMAO @ Footballgod214 - dude is such a homer and knows absolutely nothing about football - just stop. Defense with the first 3 picks? You smoking crack?

Bridgewater is on another level - he's far more cerebral then Geno Smith

Not even close. The only "comparable" skill is arm strength. They both throw a pretty ball with zip.

Teddy is superior in quickness of release, accuracy, touch, vision, reading defenses, football IQ, leadership, escapability.

Neither of them are great runners but I still think Teddy is a better runner.

The time to trade the farm for a QB comes once in a lifetime, as when Luck came out, but of course we did not have a chance in hell to get there. The thought of trading anybody for Teddy as if he is the second coming of Luck or someone like him is absolutely insane. He is not even remotely in the same league. You make those kind of moves when you have almost a sure fire HOF not another potential 2 year prospect like Bridgewater.
Every expert draft analyst has declared this draft reach with nothing but run of the mill QBs....nothing more, nothing else.
If he falls to us, most unlikely, I would take him in a heartbeat....but not at the cost of any trades involving our own future superstars for Pete sakes.

I think we have gone mad in our search for the QB of our dreams

haha this is EXACTLY what you posted last year just before Rex used BOTH first round pics on.......wait for it......Defense. Exactly what I said he would do.

In the absence of a Tom Brady under center, the ONLY shot ANY team has is to have a top defense (ask the Giants). A dominant defense is the great equalizer.

Someday maybe we'll have our own Brady or Rogers.

    Until then? DEFENSE.

Hey little man. Knock off the nonsense. Its time for you to grow up or shut up. Do not let you panties get bunched up. You are the biggest cry baby on any of these boards. You can not get along with any Jets fan that disagrees with you. Its just too bad you try to talk football when you do not know what you are talking about. You start crap on these boards and then run to the MODS for protection.

I try not to respond to your childish attacks but after this latest attack , I am asking the MODS to quiet you down. If I try to go PM to stop from ruining this site you cry and lie that your kids read the PMs and run to the MODS like the little child that you are. Your children should read your childish attacks on other Jets fans and they will understand what a child you are.

I hate computer tough guys who wear panties.

Offense gets you into the playoffs - defense wins you the VLT.

A Brady or Rodgers comes around maybe once in a decade - you going to draft defense and let the offense deteriorate until a QB comes around? You crazy?

If Watkins, Mike Evans is on the board the Jets will take a WR. If an elite offensive lineman prospect is available the Jets will take him and move Brick to RT, letting Austin Howard leave via FA.

You're probably like some of these other stat freaks that don't actually watch college ball and you see the articles and listen to the buzz and say "yeah, what they said!"

    That's okay.

Anyone who thinks right now Winston is twice the player Teddy is and ever will be is either is trolling or hasn't seen either of them play. Winston is a stud. Teddy is a stud.

What I really said was I hate computer tough guys hiding behind a keyboard! The guy, and I use that word loosely, is a waste of time. Every board he goes on he winds up having trouble with guys who disagree with his viewpoint and then he leaves all upset and in a dither. What he forgets is that we are all Jets fans and all have an opinion. We come here to express it and wind up being called names by the half -pint of Staten Island.

So I watched Geno play at least 2 dozen times in college, 3 times live, have seen Teddy play at least 2 dozen times in college, yet I can't have an opinion on who is a better player? Who has better skills?

    Is that how it works?

Go ask 20 experts who has a quicker release, is more accurate, is more cerebral, has more of a football IQ, has better touch, better anticipation, is a better leader, can read defenses better, throws a better deep ball, can pick up the rush better, can throw to spots better, has more escapability, any other characteristic important in QBing.

Teddy is not "falling" to 39 BECAUSE of all of those things he is BETTER at than Geno.

But yes, let's wait till he's played in the NFL to have an opinion on who was a better player coming out of college.
