IMHO your post saying that oh well this or that team has not yet made it to the SB is by far the most negative post I have ever seen because you link those losing teams to another losing team which is the NYJs. I presume by that post it is alright for the NYJs to continue to be non winners year after year because the Lions & Chargers have never won a SB. Was that the intent of your post? :sad:

That 1993 team was one of the most underrated teams in Jets history. Yes they finished 8-8 with a slump at the end but the defense was lights out for several weeks in a row and the Jets dominated time of possession with their huge OL and the running of Johnny Johnson. They easily should have won four of those losses if not for ridiculous plays, missed FGs and bonehead calls in the final two minutes. They even lost a game in Oakland due to the referees mishandling of the game clock at the very end. And naturally - typical Jets luck - the AFC was pretty weak that year. Buffalo was towards the end of their dominance and only got back to the SB because they were matched up against Cinderella KC in the AFC title game.......the end result cost Coslet his job. That was a 12-4 type talented team the 93 Jets.....

Funny thing is the length of time between winning SBs is almost irreverent. For the Jets going on 45 yrs, that's all it takes to think our team sucks sweaty balls and everyone should be fired. But playing in our same stadium is a team that's won 2 rings in the last five years and guess what? They think their team sucks sweaty balls and everyone should be fired. So in reality it doesn't matter how long ago you won a ring. If you're team is playing like shit THIS season, NO ONE is HAPPY AND EVERY ONE SHOULD BE FIRED!
I know since I'm pretty young that the seasons I've seen have been relatively "good", but this is the sorriest thing I've ever seen. A bunch of older fans preaching about how much tougher the years they have seen are. What does that even prove? I know it's definitely not something to be proud of.
No on the 1st game at the Polo Grounds but yes on going to the PGs to see the NYTs play. I'm sure since the merger the Bears & the Eagles & Bills & Vikings all never winning the SB have however been in the POs from the time to time. In fact if my memory serves me right the Bills & Vikes have appeared 4 times each in the SB right? :sad:

MHO my suggestion to U is U put me on your no watch list so your 2014 TGG watching/reading pleasure is more to your liking. BTW as another suggestion why not check up on the # 1 & 2 draft choices under sad sack Woody. That is why we have we have such a shitty team.
