Not was, is. I think Tomlin is one of the worst HC's in the league, despite his 2 superbowl appearances.

Collinsworth says Jason Kelce is one of the more exciting centers in the league.

Bears 3 and out, allow an easy Philly TD, then Hester fumbles the ball to Philly on the return

    what a start

Not related to the current game but it's astounding there's a scenario where an 11-5 team can miss the playoffs in the NFC (SF winning tomorrow, losing to Arizona next week and the Saints winning at home next week)

I know Chicago won last week but damn... I think it was a mistake to take McCown out. He was playing as well as anyone in the league. Should have left him in and drafted a QB this year for Trestman to groom. He clearly has the ability to get good QB play with McCown so I don't see why he couldn't develop a young one. Save some $ on a cutler contract and allocate it elsewhere.

Definitely thought that was going to be a PI. Each ref calls it so differently

Cowboys-Eagles will be flexed to prime time next Sunday night, per NFL official.

No surprise, and like many of us predicted here weeks ago, Dallas was going to be playing for a playoff spot in week 17

Can't wait to see Romo in the two minute offense in the forth quarter.

The last 3 years has featured the Cowboys in a win and you're in scenario. Would've been nice if they chose another game. Baltimore/Cincy, Chi/GB has playoff implications too.

Baltimore needs help so that's why it probably wasn't chosen. Also CIN would know going into the game if they are locked into place or not impacting who they start.

Bears-Packers would work, but with no guarantee of Rodgers playing, that probably limited NBC's choice.

So it comes back to Tony Romo and Dallas who probably draw really really well and the high powered offensive Eagles.

Actually, scratch that, I agree with Cris. Whatever the call on the field, keep it

You're right I can't argue with anything you said. I'm just tired of seeing the Cowboys in week 17 on Sunday night.

I don't mind watching Romo, I enjoy him and Dez and Murray. And on the other end, the Eagles O is fun to watch for me so I'm liking the matchup

Eagles should get a safety here!

Chicago/GB was the only other realistic choice...they want games where it has meaning for both teams and it won't get impacted by other results. And there's no way it was getting chosen over Dallas/Philly

    A) Chicago/GB is both north midwest markets, while Dallas/Philly involves a major market on the East Coast and another major market in the south.
    B) Dallas for better or worse is still ridiculously marquee like Notre Dame football, even if they've done nothing in years.
    C) The trainwreck factor...people want to see if Romo blows it YET AGAIN

Is there a reason to make it 22 instead of 23 with the XP? can't think of one mathematically
