Wow.... just found out that Princeton is playinig out in Vegas right now. They are playing Pacific as we speak. Think I might go tomorrow as they're playing Portland. I grew up a Tigers fan so I am pumped.
Those are always nice. St. Johns plays Youngstown State this afternoon. Hoping for a similar outcome.
Undefeated #8 Villanova at Undefeated #2 Syracuse, first year after the Big East split. This is why I love College Basketball!
big game. The Heels tough non conf sched is over, they survived in OT(thanks to good FT shooting) against Davidson.
Went to go see Princeton the other night, wasn't a great performance as they got beaten up by Portland. The Pilots had a really good game plan and Princeton just played poorly. Missed shots, bad turnovers. Oh well.... UNLV vs Miss St tonight.
wow what a huge blow mcgary's freshman and sophomore seasons were basically just the 2013 tournament. Didn't play much otherwise definitely don't see them going deep in the tournament now, they barely have anyone left from last year
That game convinced me Cuse is a contender this year. Overcame 20 pt deficit and made free throws down the stretch. good game Hackett
Wow, Nova gave us a scare in that first half. Cooney is shooting the lights out and I can't believe how good Ennis is as a freshman replacing MC Williams. I love CJ Fair and I don't think Jerami Grant is coming back next year. 29,000 for the game is not bad considering its winter break for the kids. UNC will be in the 35,000 range with kids just getting back that weekend (i'll be there with the sopne) but Duke will break the all time record at probably 38,000+. They considered moving the court to mid-dome for Duke which would seat 50,000 but decided against it. For this year. It'll happen soon, though. _
nice win but a LONG way to go, as usually they have a creampuff non conf sched where the toughest game was at home in a game they should win but it was a nice job, I just wish Boeheim wasn't scared to play road games in non conf.
You're right and we all know it. If, for some reason, Cuse broke the 20+ year trend and played some tough out of conference games, they'd have 4-5 losses. They started extremely sluggish this season which is why when they opened ranked 8 I thought they were severely overrated.
early losses aren't a bad thing though. I think this SU team has FF potential but I want to see them a little more. The good thing is there really isn't a great team out there at the moment so it is wide open.
