Tate would be a great addition depending on the price. But I just can't see Seattle letting him go.

Seattle has quite a few players who are FAs, both starters and backups. I think they have some cap issues as well and probably aren't going to be able to sign everyone. Seattle may want to keep him, but not be able to since the Jets and other teams might be able to pay more than Seattle. The thing is how much will Tate want and will Idzik be willing to pay it.

    Thats true

There also going to need to start preparing to pay a huge amount of money to Russel Wilson.

With so many good DB, you can bet Cro will be gone.

Any one of Verner, Taliban, grimes, Rodgers-Cromatie, munnerlyn would be a good signing
    -------------------

Next would be a solid SS and depth at Lb, and then all offense.

    Two words: FUCK HIM.

He changed his allegiance for that extra 4M. You don't want him. You don't need him.

I doubt it. He'll still want big money which the Jets are not willing to pay.

We need a safety BADLY. Let's go get TJ Ward. Remember him as being just nasty when he was at Oregon.

I totally agree. Revis is a greedy SOB imo. He made his bed with the Bucs and he deserves to lie in it.

Schefter is reporting that Cutler got resigned, so that's a QB option off the table.

Not sure why anyone wanted Cutler on this board, he's good for a pick a game. I thought we were tired of carelessness with the football around here.

Cutting Cromartie loose and convincing his cousin to sign with us would be a neat trick.

If we hadn't drafted Milner we could have ended up for both of them.

I would love to sign Decker. He has the size and speed and would be a welcome addition to this offense.

Maclin would also be a reasonable option as he has already played in MM's system, and coming off the injury should have a reasonable price tag.

Sanders from Pitt could also be a player to look at. Either way we definitely need a WR in FA (at least one of them plus use a high pick on one as well).

On defense I would love to sign Worilds from Pitt to give us that OLBer we need. Byrd would be great at the FS spot but for the money not sure it's worth it. TJ Ward might be a better option, and I wouldn't be against bringing Ihedigbo back either.

I think Captain would be a good pick up if we keep or get rid of Cro he seems like a ballhawk to me from what ive seen and he could be a quality 2 or 3 CB

My best bang for your buck FA list is as follows:

    Jeremy Maclin PHI WR (25)
    Jason Worilds PIT OLB (25)
    Corey Graham BAL CB (28)
    Nate Allen PHI FS/SS (26)
    Kevin Boothe OG (30)

If we were to pick up these 5 guys, not only would we still have a lot of salary cap room left, it would free us up to go pretty much all offensive weapons in the draft.
