If the Ravens win out, that would include a win over the Bengals, thus giving the Ravens the AFC North crown. I don't know how Bengals/Phins tiebreak.
Jets, Jets Not that it matters to the Jets but these field goals are way too easy. The NFL needs to narrow the goal posts. When fifty yd. plus kicks are routine it ruins the game.
You are mistaken. Miami needs help. Miami and Baltimore are both 8-6 and the tiebreaker edge goes to the Ravens.
Ravens control the destiny to winning the division. Bengals might not end up in the playoffs, could you imagine if they fall to a wildcard and Dolphins steal it at 9 wins?
If the Fins win out and the Pats lose out then the Fins win the division and the Pats drop to the 6 seed wouldn't that be great!
Egads. I wasn't even considering that because I think Cincinnati will go 8-0 at home for first time since '88. You are right, though. I think Miami and Baltimore will both finish 9-7.
Not that this matters, but I can't believe Stafford squandered such an opportunity to take the division. Just take a look at every other Qb in the NFC North Bears: Cutler misses 5 starts (8-6) Packers: Rodgers misses 7 starts (7-6-1) Vikings: Start 3 different QBs 4-9-1) Lions: Stafford starts all 14 games so far (7-7)
Big whoop. The only possible nightmare this season is a Patriots vs Seahawks Super Bowl (dueling ex-Jets coaches for the league title at the Jets stadium).
Jets fan/Al Bundy luck indicates a Seattle vs New England Super Bowl is more likely than any other possible Super Bowl matchup.
Sorry to break it to you guys but we've been out since we got ass raped against the Jills after the bye.
Staffords a joke. Say what you want about Mark Sanchez but Sanchez took advantage when the window was open. This season the window has opened for Stafford and he has completely blew it, especially tonight. I couldnt even imagine Stafford working with the talent that Sanchez endured 2012. Stafford is loaded and yet this is the result, complete garbage.
Well we're playing against one team that's already out of the playoffs themselves and we'd better be jacked up to try to knock out the Fins the last week. So yeah it's kind of imperative they don't screw the pooch the last two weeks a la Carroll in '94.
I don't know the permutations butit would be great if the Jets could knock the Dolphins out of the play-offs in the last week of the season
