^Dont you know fighting loses games, if we released Kocur and signed a younger Petr Nedved we would have won 4 or 5 cups not 1.
The key to winning stanley cup is slow hockey, skate in circles, do not hit. Just dump the puck in and retreat and try not to go into corners or stand in front of the net. Also let teams run your goalie you dont wanna push them away from the front of the net. If we can stick to that strategy keep trying about 15 passes on the powerplay with no shots I think we can win the cup this year.
^eh with their defense standing in front of the net was not easy but yes haha they did kill the sport with their style
The dvils' trap was horrendously boring but if you touched Marty, Daneyko, Stevens et al, made sure you didn't do it again. They also had 4 lines that contributed offensively
Anyone read this today? Glen Sather chats with healthy scratch Taylor Pyatt on A.M. of Rangers-Penguins, could there be moves before NHL roster freeze? BY Pat Leonard GM Glen Sather walked into the Rangers’ locker room after Wednesday’s morning skate and sat down next to forward Taylor Pyatt for a private chat. Pyatt was set to be a healthy scratch for the fifth time this season, and the second straight game. He also missed eight games due to a concussion between Nov. 10 and Nov. 25, but even prior to the injury Pyatt had fallen out of favor with coach Alain Vigneault as one of many Ranger forwards who simply haven’t done enough. “Right now he’s on the outside,” Vigneault said of Pyatt’s place in the rotation. “After a strong training camp, he was given a lot of opportunities, whether it be on one of the top two lines, third, fourth, and never really after training camp got his game going. Right now, he’s on the outside looking in, and I’m not quite sure where all that’s gonna go.”
