Cannot believe they never ran the ball down the stretch. A complete non understand of how the game was playing from Dallas
so who's worse: Dallas D or Romo in the clutch? Dallas is not good. I'm glad people are finally realizing it.
Can they even still make it since Carolina won? If GB is three games out of 6th and and there's only 2 games left, I'm not sure how they can still be in it. Unbelievable end to the Cowboys game. Romo got screwed over by his receiver who for no explainable reason just stopped running as Romo threw it. Now everyone will continue to rip on Romo for throwing game ending interceptions. I've never seen a QB so good with such horrible luck.
Romo got screwed by the play calling. Garrett just continues to pass and pass with a huge second half lead and worse yet, with the game in hand with under three minutes left and a first down near midfield.
I can't get over how dumb Dallas is. They attempt 51 passes and 18 runs despite being way ahead for most of the game. And those 18 runs went for over 130 yards too. That was so moronic Garrett made Schotty/Hackett/Sparano look like geniuses today.
Dallas D gave up 5 TDs in the second half right? I'll go their D. Demarco was averaging 7.4 a rush...
role reversal. The NFC West went from the worst division in football a few years ago to the best. And now the NFC East is by far the worst. Cowboys or Eagles are going to get a home playoff game, and neither one belongs in the playoffs at all.
They'd have to win their division. Even if the Lions win tomorrow they're still just a half game behind both the Bears and Detroit, and they have the Bears the last week of the season so they'd certainly be alive. Detroit losing tomorrow would be huge for them too, they'd essentially control their own destiny amazingly enough. EDIT: Thought it was a game and a half at first but NFL.com didn't update the standings yet.
Man at 29-10 I had a strange feeling like the Pack were going to come back some how. Then in typical Romo fashion, it happened.
Are you originally from Green Bay area or no? I am always interested in the stories of Jets fans in other states. By the way I feel for Romo. He is a good QB but apart from his time with Parcells he never had a legitimate head coach or offensive coordinator. After we lost to Carolina I switched the channel and it was Dallas-Packers game and in tat short period of time Romo threw 2 INT's. Later I learned Cowboys were 23 point ahead at some point. You just don't do that. What a stupid way to lose a game.
They're saying that on Romo's first pick the call was a run and he switched it to a pass. So that falls on him
I think it was a run with a built in slant, and Romo chose throw. He didn't change the play, he just didn't stick with the run. Minor difference which in the end doesn't change that he had an open receiver and threw behind him.
