Not sure how much weight I put on these things but they have a huge grudge match next week with the Saints.

One could hope they are looking past us, no?

Wish we were the 1PM game. Now we have to entertain ourselves with hopefully a Patriot win over Miami.

    Barf, but necessary.

This sound accurate. The QBs that can extend plays with their feet give Rex's D fits it feels like it.

It seems like Ted Ginn plays like it's SB against the Jets and the Jets only

    Very solid, underrated, jack-of-all-trades TE.

Youre no jet fan, you were just a Sanchez fan.

Getting ready to make the 2 1/2 hour drive to Charlotte.
I just hope our Pass Rush shows up and oursecondary can hold out and keep this one close.
I think both teams are going to try and run and neither one will be too successful.
This game is going to come down to the passing game.
Geno and Cam - Big edge Panthers
    S. Smith. Olsen and Co. vs the Worst Receiving Corp. in the NFL - Big edge Panthers.

I have a real bad feeling the Phins are going to take out the Pats and win next week to make what we do this and next week insignificant.

Its irrelevant, teams dont look to the next week. Maybe a couple players think about it but the whole "letdown" aspect is for the media. It doesnt exist.

Jets 13? You really think the Jets can score a TD and 2 field goals today?

I'll give you the 2 field goals...

I think more than looking ahead, I'm sure players take bad teams from granted and then maybe come out flat or all of sudden are down 14-0 or something.

Two field goals? We'll need the D to force at least one turnover deep in Panther territory then.

If the Dolphins have already won before the start of our game, do we still have a reason to win?

    Yes.

Win lose lose for MIA and Jets win out makes the playoffs. If the Jets lose today and MIA wins, then BAL has to lose out with the Jets beating CLE and MIA and MIA going lose/lose I think.

Oh and the players should always want to win

I think their biggest problem on defense will be containing Cam Newton. They've always had problems with running Qbs, always overplaying and overrunning the ball: either they're going to find him or he's going to get free for big gain. I think they've got to try to contain Newton even if that means a more conservative game plan. If Newton gains over 60 yards it will be not an easy game to win. But no bloodbath. Hopefully Geno can move the chains and keep possession. Jets 21 Panthers 20.
