Everytime I think I am out they pull me back in again.
Have we won two games in a row this season? Are we going to suddenly win 4 games in a row? We can hope but don’t put too much stock in us winning out.

It's the same shit every year. The NY Jets and the term "powerhouse" will never be used together.

    Where's our 10 or 11 win seaon?

Is that to much to ask?

It is if you' re a Jet fan.

We won 11 in 2010. Not so very long ago!

What kills me is that there is a team in our division who has won 10 or more games every year since 2002 and 9 or more games every year since 2000. (And, btw, has also managed to win 12 or more games 8 times in that same time span)

We have won 12 games once, in our entire fucking history. The 98 Jets were magical to me . . . and New England has equaled or surpassed their record 8 times in this era. It's mind-boggling.

I'm guessing those guys probably have a pretty decent QB. Or maybe even a Top 5 QB in the history of the sport.

They went 5-11 in 2000, and 9-7 in 2002 when we actually won the division by backing into it. I just don't want to give them anymore then they deserve.

This season seems eerily similar to 2009, the way it is playing out. It's unlikely, but in 09 we were sitting at 4-6, which seemed like the end, but we won 4 of 5 to close it with an inconsistent rookie QB. This year we have to win out, and pray that Baltimore, Miami and San Diego finish 8-8 at best. They do have tough schedules and we have to grudgingly root for the Patriots almost every week to help us. But it all matters naught if we can't beat Carolina. There is hope because we beat NO & NE this year. It's doable and you know Rex is preparing his ass off right now for Newton. David Harris will be key if we are to win this one or at least keep it close.
