Chad was a great pick are you fucking kidding me, Sanchez was a decent pick by most experts and by the way the QB class was weak as hell, oh how people forget. Say what you want about Sanchez in the regular season but in money time(playoffs) he was fucking money. This goes to all the Sanchez haters, I don't even like Sanchez as a QB but the kid showed up come playoff time. Go re-watch some playoff games from Sanchez, by the way he would of produced more than that shit stain Geno under MM.
You want Pennington with a better arm? He'll be available in this draft. AJ McCarron. I've been thinking about drafting him in 2014 for 2 years now. _
A first may be a bit excessive but Osweiler is a good talent that's been able to learn from Peyton F-ing Manning. A 2nd or 3rd I'd consider.
One of my most vivid memories of WTF? I loved Marino at Pittsburgh and thought he would be a major steal for the Jets...ken O'who????
What QB has become anything more than awful after backing up Manning? Painter was the backup for a long time and he was dreadful.
Mccaron's been on an all star team his entire college career behind the best offensive line in the country. It's impossible really to gauge him accurately.
We had an AJ Mccaron type QB on here the last two years his name was McElroy. I don't see what's so special about him btw.
McCarron is 2 inches taller, will be a physically bigger player in the NFL than McElroy and his arm is substantially better than McElroys. Yeah, who would want a 6-4 smart laser accurate pro style defense reading non-int throwing perfect mechanics tough pass rush avoiding leader with a decent arm as a QB? _
Height means jack shit in the NFL if you can play you can play. McElroy was smart, had good mechanics, rarely turned the ball over, and was fairly mobile too and he was considered not good enough. So basically you want a 2 inch taller version of what we already had?
Sanchez's draft profile looked similar to McCarron's.. Just saying. I think McCarron will be a decent NFL quarterback, but there's a lot more flaws in his game than you're giving him credit for. Accurate on short throws? For sure, but anything down the field with McCarron has been throwing to wide open receivers because of play-action passes and a dominant run game behind an elite offensive line. It's easy to make the check down read when you have all day to throw. Other then that the majority of his big yardage plays are backs out of the backfield or speed outs with a ton of YAC. That being said, the guy seems like a hell of a competitor and has a knack for managing the game and keeping the ball safe. The problem is it's tough to gauge how he does when he gets hit a lot, or continually blitzed.. He's been sacked 47 times in his career. NYJ's quarterbacks 47 times this year.
