What's with the anger? Chill out.

Besides, I'm not picking him, and he hadn't even finished the season or been to the combines. If he grades out where most say he will, Idzik better take him if we're at 5 and he's there.

Sorry bout that my post did have a hostile tone even though I didn't mean it to. Lets wait until he declares and then we can debate agreed?

Its funny how with Mariota going back and Mettenberger (and even Murray) hurt, that now it doesnt seem like such an outstanding QB class anymore.

Now Im sure everyone will look at the 2015 class with Winston, Mariota, Petty ect and talk about how good it will be.

Ive said this a few times, but you truly can never bank on what the next class will look like. In 2012, the 2013 class looked to be pretty solid, turns out it was horrible. The 2014 class looked to be stacked and one of the best since 1983, yet now it doesnt seem as strong as it was hyped up to be.

Point is, if you have a QB at your pick or within reach, and you think he is the answer at the position, you simply can just say "wait until next year, that class looks to be really good too".

Watched some more this weekend and these are the QBs, in order, I would bite on if they happen to fall to us in the specified round...

    Round 1:
Bridgewater (probably wont drop to us)

    Round 3:
    Manziel (unlikely to drop here)
    McCarron (unlikely to drop here)

    Round 4:
    Murray (probably won't drop here)
    Fales (possibility)
    Carr (probably wont drop here)
    Boyd (won't drop here)

    Round 5:
    Mettenberger (won't drop here)

    Round 6:
    Morris
    Bortles

Fales in the fourth it is, if he leaves for the draft that is.

well if the jets expect 2015 to be a better year for the QB they may be a bit more inclined to deal a bit this year, possibly securing another teams first or second round pick for 2015- thereby increasing there leverage and getting another season to evaluate smith/simms.

of course with some better offensive personnel next year.

    Very unrealistic expectations you have.

Which of those projections do you believe are incorrect?

And maybe we can get Clowney in the 3rd if he drops to us.

I said that's where I would bite, not where they are going to drop.

You think all those QBs are going to be available in the rounds I specified? I think you misunderstood what I'm showing.

I want to win the lottery. Doesn't mean it will happen.

I think your projections are wrong on everybody but Teddy.

I can't speak to Morris and Bortles but I think you are just about spot on with the rest.

The only thing I know about Morris is he is way too inconsistent. Don't know anything about Bortles either. The fact that Marcus Lattimore, a RB coming off an ACL injury was a 4th round pick says that Murray and Mettenberger will be drafted well before the 4th round.

That's why I'm saying I wouldn't likely pick a QB in this draft. I would consider maybe picking Manziel in the 2nd.

Regardless- my list is where I personally would pick. This is where I believe they will end up..

    Round 1:
    Bridgewater (1-3)
    Manziel (late 1st round)

    Round 2:
    Carr (early 2nd)
    McCarron (early 2nd)
    Boyd (late 2/early 3rd)

    Round 3:
    Murray
    Mettenberger
    Fales

    Round 4:
    Bortles

    Round 5- 7:
    Morris

Like I said, I think you misunderstood me.
