Even as bad as we've played I think we'll win 3 of our last 4 with the one loss being at Carolina. Even though 8-8 won't give us a playoff berth nor a great draft pick it would be a hell of an accomplishment given the talent level of this team.
I wish I could share your enthusiasm. HOW will we score the points to beat anybody? IMO we have imploded and now just waiting for the end of the season.
I started the season expecting 6-10; during a brief period of temporary insanity I grew to expect something like 9-7. I have been brought crashing back to earth in the last two weeks and have great doubts my original prediction will be attained.
True, points have been hard to come by. I just think we're flat out better than Oakland and Cleveland (both games are at home). Miami on the last day of the season is a toss up, I thought we had some bad breaks that could be cleaned up today. I think the whole complexion of the game would've changed if Nelson turned inside after he caught the ball inside the 10 and we ended up settling for 3.
I'm with ya JetLife. Even one win right now seems like an impossibility, four consecutive wins seems like a day dream. But this may be our last 6 days to dream for the 2013 season, so day dream away!
