Philbin and Sherman are very stubborn. Almost too stubborn. The playcall was right but Tannehill botched it up. You are right though, you have to take the 3 points.
I'm willing to take the risk of seeing Simms fail. One week of Simms failing is at least easier to take then four weeks of Geno failing, and never knowing what you actually have in your back-up QB.

Can you not blame the line and receivers? Geno has no time to pass, and when he does, receivers drop passes. I don't think that their afraid of success, which is exactly what your saying. Why would they be scared of putting Simms in and he performing well? They were the guys who gave him a shot. They were the guys who have him a roster spot.
Why on earth would you show it any respect - it is the worst offense in the NFL and probably worse than many college teams - its probably worse than a few pee wee football teams for that matter.
