Eagles named Foles the starter for the remainder of the year.

I don't think Vick will stay at Eagles next year. With his past with MM, do you think he can be a short term solution for the Jets next year IF Geno is not the answer?

Fuck no - we need to see what we have in Geno / Simms. If they both suck draft a new one. No more stupid stop gaps.

It seems like he is always injured. Not sure if he can stay on the field.

If every single QB in next years draft is gone by the time we pick, then sure pick him up... Can't hurt to have some competition.

Vick is an injury waiting to happen and hasn't been the same since he signed his big deal. Better off with Sanchez if you just want competition

The Jets should retire #6 for good. Too many painful memories.

Vick and MM left on kinda bad terms so I don't know if Marty will go up to bat for Vick.

Then you'll have to deal with the baggage Vick brings with his past history and the amounts of protest that come with him. Would Woody Johnson and John Idzik deal with that?

Vick can't stay health for more than two games at a time.

I'd also stop rooting for the Jets all together.

I'd rather have Schaub or Cutler, and I don't want them.

Enough with this Band-Aid crap. There will be good QB's available in the 2014 draft regardless of where we pick in the first round. Idzik and the scouting dept. are analyzing all of the potential QB's I'm sure. Go into next year with the QB drafted, Geno and Simms for an open comp. Michael Vick is such damaged goods and his time has passed.

Why would we want a short term solution? Short term solution to what? We're miles away from where we want to be

HELL NO! I don't want Vick anywhere near the Jets. I would rather have Smith, and I HATE Smith.

Absolutely not. Vick is absolutely shot, guy is just getting older, he's always banged up, and he isn't that great of a passer... Imagine him on our team with our o-line and our receivers... Not gonna be a pretty sight.

Why not? He doesn't have to start, and if he was on this team now you'd all be calling his number. Bring him in let him compete and see if Geno can beat him.
