I haven't seen anyone defend Geno. We're all in agreement that Geno sucks. But there are other problems on this team as well. So it's not all Geno's fault. But he's definitely the biggest problem right now.

Geno is supposed to suck. He's a rookie QB. The rest of our offense isn't supposed to follow suit and look terrible. Other than our RBs and Kerley all of our skill position players are useless. When Idzik came in he knew this wasn't going to be a quick fix.

No. Like, McElroy, Simms isn't the answer. Geno is a rookie with virtually no offensive talent.

Give him a chance, yeah he's been bad but almost any QB would be with this ghostly receiving core and shit poor o-line.

Simms would probably be running around like a chicken with his cut off just like McElroy last year.

With the ghostly receiving corps and inconsistent offensive line, Geno currently doesn't have much of a chance. Unless he's learning something out there, it might make sense to start Simms. If he runs around with his head cut off, takes eleven sacks, etc., then there isn't much lost, but he plays well, then perhaps he's the long-term answer either at the backup spot or as the starter. Worse could happen, right?

Nobody knows how Simms will perform. If Geno shits the bed against the gay sharks than Simms needs to be put in for the rest of the season so the Jets can find out what he can do.

he is dumb cuz he can't read defense, can't call audibles, cant protect the ball and has no game intelligence

he is lazy cuz he doesn't talk to coaches during the game, he doesn't look at pictures of the defense, and he slugs on and off the field like a sloth carrying a ball and chain- he has also gotten worse meaning defenses game plan for him better than he is able to improve

    Kiss of death....

I'm shocked anyone would want another QB to start over Geno with his awesome 1 TD-10 INT ratio the last five weeks when we're still somehow in a playoff race.

There's not even a five-game stretch of Sanchez that's worse. The closest was his last five games last year when he had 2 TD's and 9 INT's.

Russell Wilson, RG3, Matt Ryan, Cam Newton, even Mike Glennon to a degree - I'm so freaking tired of this rationale. This isn't 1970, these guys are better prepared and scouted. You can pretty much tell whether a guy has the tools to play QB in the NFL his rookie season these days. At least be competent. Geno has three of the five worst passer rating games in the league this year. And other teams are starting freaking third-stringers and aren't on that list.

I agree, you expect rookie mistakes but at the same time you want your rookie to at least be competent. Geno is flat out horrible.

You can't fix stupid. He's dumb because he can't read a D worth a shit, stares HARD to his receivers, and has absolutely no game IQ. Guy's no good.

It appears that the coaching staff will stick with Geno so they dont start a QB controversy. This was menchioned by the crew calling the game last night.

Rex doesnt want or need this.

I would say that they have a QB controversy whether they want one or not.

Even if Geno finishes the season, Sanchez is still on the roster with a much higher paycheck than Smith. After watching Geno suck week after week down the stretch are you honestly going to tell Sanchez that he doesn't even get to compete for the starting job?

Besides, if Izdick forced Rex to start Geno he may not even give a shit. We are lucky he has refrained from punching Marty in the face on the sideline during a game.

You forgot to mention him telegraphing every pass. But other than that a very good summation.

You forgot to mention how he locks on target and telegraphs all of his throws instead of looking off receivers while going through progressions.
