Yes because a rookie next year will do so much better with this cast? Thats not a rhetorical question either....answer it.

You are looking at chicken versus the egg. I'm looking at egg versus the chicken.

I think they limited the play calling BECAUSE of Geno today, not in spite of him.

But you believe what you want to.

I've seen him play enough this year and overall he hasn't done it a lot. In these last few games he's been staring down receivers a lot I'll say that much.

Geno Smith = Josh Johnson 2.0

Have been a huge advocate of Geno, but he cannot handle this game at this stage. He was very rough out there and the weather in NY will go against him.

Time for Simm's and his arm to give it a shot

It's not about doing "better" next year, any one of 6-7 QBs next year will be BETTER than Geno will ever be so you HAVE to grab one. IMHO.

2013 was a shit year for QBs and we got the best- like the skinniest chick at the fat farm. Not something to sit on our laurels about.

2014 blows away the crap from 2013. Any of them will be better.

One of the most ungracious concession speeches ever, but I'll accept it.

So you think 2013 was a GREAT class and 2014 is poor?

    All righty then. Lol.

Youre not listening......You think Mariota will play better? Im not even sold on him. He struggles against physical teams. Thats every team in the NFL. Theres still the speed of the game to adjuust to. So all you would be doing is starting over again. So when that QB struggles.....which he will, then what? You gonna draft another one the following season?

It takes more than 1 year to evaluate a QB

I would take any one of 6-7 QBs in next years draft and start a new. The QBs last year were not good, next years WILL be good.

You build with a good foundation.

I was told that 2013 was supposed to be a deep draft for QB's. Between Geno, Barkley, Nassib, Wilson, Manuel, Glennon etc. And we all saw how that turned out.

    Yes it does.

I want to spend time evaluating a QB from a superior class rather than a QB from an inferior class.

Nobody told you anything of the sort.

It was widely acknowledged as one of the weakest and thinnest QB classes in years.

Next years is stocked to the gills.

He should have given Simms some reps today. Smith was a deer in headlights out there. Still backing up with pressure. Can he not roll right or left? How does he signal a snap with a receiver in motion in front of him?

Amazing the still had over 100 yards rushing.

The fact smith had his first cacth before his first attempt tells you the coaches have no faith in their QB without gimmicks
