In reality the Jets are who many thought they are.

I really believed they would only win 3 games , looks like I will be off by 2.

I firmly believe that no QB can be successful behind this O line with these receivers, and I do mean no QB.

Geno is no different than Sanchez. The only difference is Sanchez was given a decent team his rookie year.

It makes no sense to draft another QB yet. Restructure Sanchez and let him compete against Geno. Rebuild the offense first than get your QB, there is literally nobody on this offense that is worth keeping to build around and that includes Brick and Mangold.

Kellen Clemens was also a 2nd round pick.

Geno was the BPA at the pick.

This makes no sense. GB was the only one to pick Aaron Rodgers. Seattle for Wilson, New Orleans for Brees, New England for Tom Brady.

    That statement holds no argument.

I just said that. Hey lets get a real record that reflects who we are as a team. That way we know where to go.

I realized that after posting thought you wouldn't notice.

By what im saying is that word was he wasn't really good and to to it off he throws a tantrum the night of the draft. Under Rex we have made some poor player evaluations and this is another one.

I think the argument for replacing Geno at this point is that he needs some perspective and he can't get that under the kind of pressure he is under right now.

    God help Matt Simms.

We have no idea what that is going to look like but I'm guessing it will be uglier than what we're seeing at the moment. It won't feel as ugly though because expectations are not as high.

I think Rex had the least to do with this draft pick out of everyone significant person in the organization, but thats just me.

He's a rookie and all but he isn't giving us anything right now. We needed to know what we have in Geno and that picture is getting clear. We need to bring in a vet next year ( Cutler) and let Geno sit and watch and hope that when we get rid of that vet; that Geno has learned something and is ready to play.

Whoever. The pick isn't turning out great and based on the offense f ups under Rex this outcome isn't so surprising.
We were the only one to pick him because we are a stupid organization.

and most draft experts had him going in the top 12 picks in the first round so what does that tell you - that no-one really knows anything.

i agree with most. although brick and nick are still better than average. wonderif they are cheating towards winters and ending up late on plays.that said, there is not 1 player on this offense that defenses have to plan for. no one for the other team to respect, so they are free to move around and do all knds of shit until we get a play maker this offence will struggle against most defenses

    alot of that going around

exactly - next year is the first year we will have some cap room - get in the best available FA QB and let geno sit as he isn't really costing us very much (in the scheme of things) unlike Sanchez who was on $15m a year.

I watched quite a bit of him. I took him in our annual 7 round draft and defended him quite a bit.

Next you'll suggest starting Matt Simms or resigning Mark Sanchez. Or perhaps tanking the season so that we get a higher draft pick.
