A system QB who can't play in weather. Overrated by so many people on here its sickening. He lived off the dinks and dunks to Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey.
Hes played 11 games in the NFL, has a terrible O line and zero receivers. He may very well suck but you cannot grade him yet. 11 games
Yes, and it's time to cut bait immediately with this POS "QB" He's one of those pure athlete types. Geno might have a future in the league as a Brad Smith type but he will never lead a pro offense
No need for an I told you so thread... Congrats on being right. I have been pretty wrong on Geno, but there was no doubt that he had the physical tools to succeed. So far he's been pretty atrocious. At the same time, we easily have one of the least talented offenses in the entire NFL. Drafting a QB relatively high next year is looking more likely. That puts this team in a terrible situation because those high draft picks also need to be used to surround a QB with talent.
Luckily we only used a 2nd round pick on him. I still have some faith in Geno turning it around and developing in year 2, but I wouldn't be against going for a Qb in this draft. This thread should be merged with the Geno thread, though.
He is garbage. We are reaping what Rex sowed by drafting nothing but defense year in and out. We don't have an offense to speak of. I would gladly take an average offense and a good defense over a great defense and the 3 and outs.
Oh, so now those excuses are viable? lol..pretty funny JD but you are correct, 11 games waaaay too early.
No doubt I wanted nothing to do with the guy as well. Mark sucked so bad we had to waste a 2nd rounder so fans would be happy Instead of waiting on a good QB to come out
We were the only ones to pick him. That saids it all really. I don't hate the guy but since August I thought he wasn't ready. Sent from my LG-LS720 using Tapatalk
That Nick Foles fella was a system QB. That Case Keenum fella was a system QB. He is a rookie QB, who as usual makes mistakes like plenty do.
Most of the Geno fans on this board, never watched him play in college based their assessment on his stats an YouTube highlights, any game Geno played in conditions, he was hideous, idzik better have a good plan in mind for the off season, otherwise, he might as well follow Geno out of town
It's pretty clear Geno is not an NFL quarterback. What's more worrying, is that our new GM invested a second round pick in him.
I think you're wrong, here. Even if Geno ends up a career backup, Richardson is a beast and Milliner is showing me improvement. I'm unsure about Winters. I think 3 years from now this will be looked at as a good draft; not an amazing one, but a good one.
