Smith cannot be the QB going forward. He may have played well a few times this season, but he is just not a smart person/qb.

Evidently not pathetic enough for Geno to get benched. Rex ain't gonna risk any kind of controversy unless he gets his extension first. Just settle in and get used to this until the season is over. Good Geno, Bad Geno, Either way, its gonna be Geno unless he gets hurt.
He clearly isnt learning. He may need an offense to process this game. Its obviously too fast for him. The only way he will learn from that is to simply play. Either he learns or he doesnt. I also think we all need to be realistic here and realize we just dont have a good offense. We need real playmakers. A 50% Holmes is our best option at WR. Hill isnt an NFL reciever. Obviously there is a problem with evaluating offensive talent on this team. We need to do a better job of finding these players in the draft.
Geno Smith should not have started, let alone, played this season. Another failed development by Rex Ryan and the New York Jets.
He's as dumb as a box of rocks. It's frustrating comparing him to rookies like Glennon who, while still pretty terrible, actually intelligently uses the ball. Geno needs to sit for a l-o-n-g time until he's NFL ready. This is like Project Sanchez all over again.
