Alright special teams, lock down this kick off. Defense force a punt. Jets offense needs to get Geno on the move and get the ball out his hands because they can't protect traditionally against the blitz to get a big play

 

With this logic, why not bench our OLine and our secondary players?

Hell, much better QB's have been yanked than Geno, simply because they and/or their O-Line have had a bad day.

Putting Simms in now costs you nothing. Leaving Geno in will result in more game managing for the next 30 minutes, and perhaps a less than 10-point spread in a losing effort.

 

So you see Smith about to do something in the second half then?

And you have all the scouting down perfectly that he has no reason to be in the league.

If the Jets cut him half the teams would want him on the roster as a 2nd or a 3rd qb with what he did in preseason.

AGAIN...SIMMS will probably not be the answer...Geno has shown nothing.

 

The answer is play action passing and moving the pocket, since we're having a huge problem protecting against a good front 7. Lets see if MM catches on.
