In all seriousness, thank you fine Sir for taking the time to point out the absolute bullshit point by point. I like Geno. Geno is a Jet. Geno is my quarterback and has my full support. I became a Geno fan the moment his name was announced as our pick. Supporting Geno does not mean you are required to shit on another current Jet. Not sure why these a-holes feel the compulsion to do so post after post after post ad nauseum. _
Try talking like an adult and ask why?( No wonder why JI kicked you out!) It might work better then your childish - vulgarity laced responses. Better yet if you feel the compulsion to act like a child go the PM route. There we all can talk tough like you. All the world hates a computer tough guy who is the self-appointed board bouncer of posts not to your liking. I seriously think the MODS ought to put a harness on your constant vulgarity in posts. Kids besides you read these boards. Now that your you feel the need to talk tough to me, go private. I have several new words for you to choke on! And lastly despite my KJ computer name I was born in Brooklyn and lived in Pakl Slope most of my life. Your sarcastic REDNECK statements are as full of** it as you are! Now little boy if you have something to say, go PM. I will be waiting! I think real tough guys are more respectful to people with differing opinions then you. But come on lets go PM and really get it on.
1. I did not get kicked off JI, I am not banned there, go check. I left voluntarily because of the same crap that is starting here- the same hate filled bull you spew post after post after post ad nauseum. I sometimes read that board and your one-note act there as the biggest Sanchez hater is wearing on everyone too. 2. I don't give a crap what you think and I have NOTHING the say to you via PM so get off your high horse. I'm not an Internet tough guy nor a board policeman. If folks here want to continuously shit on a current Jet- yes a CURRENT Jet- I will continue to call them to task. Go cry to the mods little boy if you can't accept it. Make sure when you go to the mods you make your point with a LOT of exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, go Geno and go Jets!!!!!! _
Two,other points KJ then I am done with you. 1. I'm assuming you object to my "vulgarity" because I am defending a current Jet but you are perfectly fine with the "vulgarity" of other posters here who hate Sanchez with every fiber of their being such as you. Dogshit, pussy, shit the bed, gay headband, faggot, the cute nickname Suckchez. A poster a few pages back likened Sanchez being sacked to a little girl being repeatedly and gleefully RAPED by victorious soldiers in war. I'm assuming you are okay with that and that's not too vulgar for the children (other than you) that frequent this board. Yeah, rape. Pretty funny, huh? 2. Don't ever PM me again. Your vulgarity laced PM, while I found comical, upset my kids who sometime read this board and my PMs. I won't go crying to the mods with this as you seem to want to do, and your behind the scenes Internet tough guy act, or your offer to--get this- meet in person so we can, what, have a fist fight behind the gym after 4th period, was equally as comical. Seriously, don't PM me again, I have nothing to say to a supposed fan of a team who constantly shits on a current player or coach post after post after post- be it Sanchez or Rex or Geno or Vlad or Gholston or O'Donnell or Mirer or Sparano or any of them. _
I'll post your PM if you'd like. So I'm assuming you think all the vulgarity directed AT Sanchez is fine, right? The gleeful and repeated raping of little girls is cute, right? I don't do hypocrisy well. !!!!!!!!!!!!! _
Ftr this is a message board, not a site for internet pom pom waivers to see who does that best. And most. As a message board I think it is in part a place to analyze which Jet players are helping the team, and which are not. Starters who do not get it done are replaced from time to time. In some cases perhaps not as quickly as they should, in others perhaps too quickly. It is often not a clear case of when they should be, and thus opinions are expressed on that subject. Personally I think many, if not all, pom pom waivers are emotionally insecure and immature. Some implicitly seem to feel that the expressions of doubts literally has the effect of undermining the performance of the team's players. However silly that is, more prevalent seems to be the evidence that such posters do not like having their optimism challenged. They seem to know such optimism is fragile, and based on hope more than substance. Of course I do not respect that sort of thinking, approach to life, and approach to posting here. But I know when i come here I will from time to time encounter such posters. I try to respect them, but it is difficult. The worst I merely put on ignore. So no, I do not adhere to Stokes's standards of posting here, thank God.
Criticize players all you want- nothing wrong with that and it's actually a healthy discussion. Crucifying them to me is the exact opposite of Pom Pom waving- it's the opposite end of the spectrum and just as bad. Btw, I haven't waved a Pom Pom for Sanchez in a while here, just don't see the need in constantly shitting on a guy who everyone acknowledges has played his last game as a Jet. And who is still a current Jet. But have at it. Also, please put me on ignore, I will not miss your brilliant responses to my posts. _
Sanchez, will win the job, and he knows it. What is likely to happen os a restructure/ paycut on next years salary, leaving the rest of his no risk contract in place. His agents will point immediately to the week two game, and probably pitt, that would have us leading the division today. How good would this team be, if they didn't get Sanchez hurt, and Geno had actually been given time to adjust. By now, Geno would have come much further being able to learn and probably by the middle of next year, you would have had two good QB's on the sideline, instead of none. The fact that Geno was accurate in college, and now can't throw a screen pass confirms what many said. He needed to be eased into the NFL role.
What a coincidence, because Mark couldn't throw a screen pass in his 4th year in the league. I do agree that Mark should of started the season, and I wasn't about starting Geno week one. But there's no way in hell Mark Sanchez starts next season for another team, barring an injury. He needs time to reset his brain and re-learn an offense.
Noam is delusional. Tampon Bay, was not a Mark issue, Freeman was never going to beat our defense. Noam, how do we lose by thirty to Tampa Bay, because our defense sucks, or because Freeman can loght it up? :rofl2: And 3 picks by Smith in the biggest divisional game of the year, wk2, while trailing by 3....yes, inconsequential. :drunk: Sanchez starts. We're leading the Division right now.
It's a post comparing the rookie seasons, correct? Slauson wasn't the starting LG in 2009 and Hunter wasn't the starting RT. No sense bringing those players up. Plus he didn't say every individual player was the best, he said the unit was the best. No team had multiple first team all-pro selections on the line that season, let alone all 5 starters. I wouldn't make such a definitive statement as to call them the best but most reasonable fans would agree they were in the conversation. I do disagree with Noam that the Jets have one of the worst lines this year. Teams like the Dolphins, Jaguars, Raiders, Cardinals, Giants, Ravens and Steelers all have worse fronts and that's just off the top of my head. The Jets line is middling.
I think it is fair to say that the offensive line Geno is playing behind is good enough for him to be successful. They run block well, the pass block good enough. Geno causes sacks on his with his poor pocket awareness and slow decision making which makes the line look worse.
Haven't seen recent numbers, but I recall that in mid-October, the line was ranked 23rd in the league is pass blocking efficiency. That's not great protection for a rookie QB who's throwing to Greg Salas and a guy named Sludgefield.
how is someone who doesn't know the scheme properly going to evaluate an OL? Our OL is not great but it has been good most of the year, we have an O w/o a pass game yet we can still run. That's pretty good.
It is a common argument here that the Jet OL is terrible, but that is not based on any factual analysis. In fact I would put them somewhere between 8th and 10th.
