Ed Reed is so good that Cromartie, Wilson, Allen, and Jarrett are all having sex the night before the Ravens game. edit: but not with each other :rofl::rofl:
If there is ANYTHING I want out of Reed it's his ability to teach this D how to fucking force turnovers. Pathetic how scarce they come.
Ed Reeds first game and he's used as a blitzing FS. Not what I want to see. Allen and Jarrett can already do this.
Yes, I was very disappointed about that. Please Rex, don't let your loyalty blind you - he's not that type of player.
Buffalo shoved it up Rex' ass yesterday. Rex dared teams to throw deep now that Ed Reed is in the lineup and they hit big play after big play over the top. Made Rex look like an idiot.
We have to be patient. He hasn't played with Rex in like 6 years. I think the secondary will start to improve as the year goes on.
The Texans went something like 2-8 with Ed Reed. He joins the Jets and we are 0-1 since he got here. Maybe the dude is just bad luck to have around.
I don't think Ed Reed did anything wrong yesterday, besides a missed tackle. Kind of sad that he did better than the rest of the players in the secondary who have been there all year.
Others have noted there were some coverage issues going on during the Bills game, and it makes sense that there were. Even if Reed played under a Rex coached system, that was six years ago, and Reed has not played with Cromartie or Milliner at all, only practicing with them like three days, right? Kind of took away any advantage from the bye week, let alone prior experience from the season to date, to put Reed in there for basically the whole game. And it's not like Allen was playing badly. In short I do not think Rex's decision to play Reed under those circumstances can be said to have been the right one.
This is why I'm happy he's here*........ http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/24/s...ager-acolyte.html?partner=rssnyt&emc=rss&_r=0 * still doesn't change how pissed I was in '02....but hey, they got Jon McGraw :shit::jets:
