I've heard a lot of shows day he is going to be the 4th to 5th qb taken because he doesn't project well in the nfl. Hey everybody had Geno going 1st overall or the first qb taken and he was neither. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
In your GM meetings? Kiper has him at 12, McShay has had him as a mid first rounder all year but moving up, Scouts has him at 21. But he'll probably drop to the 6th round because he reminds real fans of Tim Couch. _
Ok I'm not arguing with you. We will see when Draft time comes around and next season. But I guarantee he will not be a good nfl qb Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Geno had a bad game, but it's not like because of the game he's suddenly a lost cause and the Jets should give up on him. Chances are, when you have an awful offensive line (they were awful today), and bad wide receivers, you're going to struggle throwing the ball. It's been said before and I'll say it again, Geno needs some quality offensive talent around him before we can pass a verdict on whether or not he's for real.
Did we watch the same game? The dude was lost out there. The Ravens are going to kill him if he plays next week.
I watched a game where Geno took a hit half the time he tried to throw the ball. I also watched a game where Geno was playing from behind, which let Buffalo be a lot more aggressive on D. He did not look good out there, but it wasn't like it was completely his fault. It's tough to play well in a game where your receivers barely get any separation and you barely have any time to throw.
Wait, so the other guy gets no slack for last year? Ummmm..kay. He's not from a Pro Style offense. 60 odd pct of his passes last year, went to Austin or Steadman. He's a talented kid, thats a project. Blame Idzik.
Wow took you about 10 minutes to come up with that response. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Bad game? Look at his last 5 games...the guy has fallen off a cliff since Atlanta. He has 16 completions in the last 2 weeks -- and last week they only traveled 7 yards!!!! He isn't stretching the filed - he is barely stretching the line of scrimmage! He is completing under 52% the last 5 weeks 1TD and 9 TO....the guy s is killing the offense and it will poison the entire team if it continues. Win 1 Lose 1 -- it is Geno - Doesn't lose it -- loses it!!
They aren't drafting a QB next year. They're now writing a check to Nacho, and Smith will get time to develop. That's all he ever needed. Smith will be a quality NFL player, but it's going to take a full season, maybe two, going against Rex's defense.
It's a canned response when someone tries to "guarantee" something they have no control over and don't have anything to lose if the result of their "guarantee" does not come to fruition. _
Ok we shall have this conversation later about his career so remember this. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
If he takes two season it means Rex is gone, and the will rebuild again - Only this time players will follow rex out the door. The Sons of anarchy love rex and when they go free they will bounce and not rebuild again. Geno is not a top tier pick - he is a 2nd round pick that is a backup at best. if they don't draft a QB they get Sanchez to reduce his salary on a 1 year deal with a chance to start and see if he can't make a go of it with a free agency waiting for him or they sign a veteran free agent to start.
They won't Draft a qb and shouldn't. It's not like they're getting the top two. So why reach on a team with other needs Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Russel Wilson was a third round pick...Geno is a 2nd round pick. This draft is deep at the QB spot. Last year was EJ and Smith -- jets got the left overs. QBs aren't just the top 2 and move on because they are no good. There is talent coming out this year and Smith shouldn't make it out of this season as the starter let alone next season.
