NBC does want meaningful games. So does FOX and CBS. That is why the NFL makes the decision on flexing games.

While the NFL makes the call, FOX and CBS do get to protect games from flexing. CBS agreed to give up this week's KC-Denver game after originally protecting it but that was a one time thing. It won't happen again this season.

That's right. In 3 weeks, the Skins Giants could mean nada. Don't matter who's the Qb, its being moved. If we start winning regularly, and with the amount of primetime games under our belt, we could be moved twice to SNF and or 4:25 instead of 1 pm. Its about what games matter, not the QB's.

I thought NBC is the one who makes the decision? if they want an unprotected game they can get it, no questions asked. The only time I recall it not happening was when Kraft jumped in to stop the Broncos-Patriots game from going to primetime two years ago.

That Falcons-Packers primetime game is getting flexed most likely, Cincinatti at Pittsburgh week 15 is also likely out unless Pitt is still alive.

The Jets Panthers game week 15 could end up in primetime which im all for. If the Panthers knockout the Patriots and the Jets are leading the playoff race then I think Bengals and Steelers is out if the Steelers are eliminated at that point.

Week 16 to, New England at Balt has a good chance to be flexed if Balt is dead. The Chiefs-Colts game is unprotected so that could end up in primetime.

You may be right, and the Jets will never play another primetime game, as no one would want to see that.
    we shall see..

The Patriots-Texans week 13 game has now been moved to 1 oclock, they put the Broncos @ Chiefs into the 4:25 time slot. Doesnt mean much for the Jets though, especially if the Chargers beat the Phins Sunday.

Unless FOX keeps it, I think the ARI/PHI game holds more meaning with both teams winning. 6-4 ARI vs 6-5 PHI both fighting for their playoff lives.

Either one is a good bet. Not sure what the Redskins vs Giants game holds outside of maybe the most appeal with two of the more dedicated fanbases.

Since Giants are still in the playoff hunt, NBC will most likely keep that game. There is a huge Dallas fan base who will be interested in that game as well.

Woulden't the Dallas fanbase watch the Eagles game if it got flexed though? Cards could play huge spoiler in the NFC Wildcard since they beat Carolina and Detroit. It is just they don't have much of a following nationally which might not be appealing.

Your right, if the Giants lose next week the game is completely meaningless then. The Redskins are basically meaningless and they play the 49ers next week so they are done.

The Jets-Phins game is 100% meaningful even if both squads lose next week. The Philly-Arizona game is also right up there to. I think NBC is going to do something, no one expected the Skins to lose to both the Vikings and Eagles, now that they have the game is likely to get flexed.

Im not sure, the Giants/Packers got flexed out for Chiefs/Broncos which dont have as large fanbases.

Who knows. NBC knows which games will draw, meaningless games dont draw no matter the team, time will tell.

I have no desire to see the Jets get blown out in front of a national audience.
