The Bolts have Kansas City twice, Denver, Bengals, Giants. The chargers are as good as dead. We need em to win today.
Yeah that's my thinking also. We may play Miami twice, but I'm leaning more on the chargers getting beat going through that schedule.
The Bears and Bengals at least gave us something to be somewhat happy about today, although I'm not sure this Jets team even belongs in the playoffs.
Starting Garrard literally solves nothing unless the FO is 100% positive Geno is not the answer going forward. The goal of this season should be to determine if Geno is the starting QB of the future or not. We won't be able to find this out if we glue him to the bench.
my concern is that the Bills followed a simple blueprint vs Jets On D load up the front w/8 force a pass, blitz rattle Geno try to get a score off a turn-over on O throw long
There are only 5 playoff caliber teams in the AFC this year. Somebody has to be the 6th team. That's the Jets chance, that and them being near the top of that pile of mediocre teams at this point.
mind you this is the same team that beat the saints a couple of weeks ago, enough of this "deserve" bullcrap. they deserve what their and the record of every other AFC team tells them they do. We are not a great team, the jets are historically inconsistent, but guess what? we're not the only ones with problems.
Lmao, we get blown out every other week and our QB has 1 TD to 8 INTs in the past few weeks or something like that, give me a break.
That doesn't warrant your claim. Since when do teams make playoffs based on deserving it? You make the playoffs based on your record. Right now, our record has us with the wild card, yet you claim we don't deserve it? LOL
I agree with you on this. The reason you'd put Geno on the bench at some point is that you'd already decided you were taking a QB next year at some point early and you wanted to clear Geno's head out and let him watch some to get some perspective. Then when you draft the next guy and throw him and Geno into the competition you're not taking away Geno's job in the process. He already lost the job last year. Instead you're giving him an even shot at winning an open job in camp. I think the Jets probably should let Geno play it out but I can see alternatives a few games down the line if he is regressing and the Jets are putting another plan into play.
Guys it dosnt matter if you deserve to be in or not! How many 1 seeds that "deserve" to be in playoffs win superbowls? look at us in 2009 did we "deserve" to make playoffs we still made it and almost to a championship so stop with that arguement its irrevalent
